We went to the port yesterday and saw the Dream leave. We took a video of John and I with the Dream in the background telling our grandchildren that they will be going on a Disney cruise in July. They have never been on a cruise and they love Disney. Can't wait until they are here and we break the news to them.

I will miss seeing you all but especially all our old cruising buddies. I have wanted to say hallo for a long time now.

My name is Christina and I’m 32 and live in Denmark with my husband and son. We booked this cruise when it first came out, but I was busy with work and planning our WBTA cruise so I didn’t say hello at that time.

After the cruise we were supposed to spend 2 weeks at Disney world, but we got in a car accident on the way there. I, luckily, was the only one that got hurt – I broke my elbow pretty badly and injured some nerves, so my elbow and pinky isn’t working 100 % (hopefully they will again someday). After 1½ weeks in a hospital in Orlando we finally returned back home to Denmark.

For a long time I was afraid we weren’t going to make this cruise, but my doctor says, that I will be able to go. My arm will not be okay by the time of the cruise, but I will be able to travel.

I’m very excited about going to Hawaii. I always wanted to get married there, but it wasn’t in the cards. But next year we are celebrating 10 years of marriage, so we decided to renew our wows on the trip.

We are also celebrating my sons 6th birthday.

I haven’t read very much in the tread yet, but I will start now that we decided that we’re definitely going.

So sorry for you both. Here's hoping this is a temporary setback and once the Doctors settle on a diagnosis you will find an insurer again and can resume your travels.

We love the long cruises, I can't honestly see many shorter ones in our future... and there are a lot of familar names on the roll call and no doubt more familiar faces onboard (or those that I haven't associated with their board names most likely )

In terms of linking the dining, what is involved for someone to arrange this? I might be up to the task of arranging for main/early dining - if it can be done via email.

It just involves collecting all the real names and ressie numbers, and sending them to DCL requesting connecting for dining purposes only. Some folks will request to be seated with specific people, or perhaps at their own family table but in the same area as the group, etc. Those requests need to be made clear to DCL as well.

Sorry to hear about your accident on your last trip but really pleased you are joining us to Hawaii - its going to be wonderful.

A quick intro, I'm Paula and I'm travelling with my partner Robert and my Mum Marian. We live in Christchurch, New Zealand.

So sorry you aren't sailing with us. As Mum approaches 70, she is also getting concerned with how long she will keep being able to get insurance for. My uncle who just turned 80 has been unable to get insurance this year to travel to New Zealand for the summer - and he is in good health.

Hi all, well I have just been poking around the net to look for more clues as to the Wonders travels for '13. I came across some stuff for our upcoming cruise. All very interesting. First off the Wonder is listed for two days in Oct '12 for Kauai but none in May. This was as of 6/29/11. Second as of 12/13/11 the Hilo port shows us there from 11 A.M. till 11 P.M. Third thing was the times in Maui. As of 11/16/11 they have us there from 6 A.M. till 8 P.M. Last but not least for Oahu we are shown overnight on the 6-7, and this was as 11/25/11. I just wanted to point it out. I just thought it was interesting.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts. Yes I am hoping if I can at least get a definite diagnosis that we will find some company to insure me. Of course there is that tiny chance that if that happens soon and there is a room still available we could manage it but it isn't likely.

I had thought that as my chronic pancreatitis was covered (with paying a supplement) that it would still be covered for this trip(annual policy) and just not anything new that might be found.

Paula it is a bigger problem as we get older. Your mum will be like me and dreading the time we can't get away on lovely holidays.

When I first heard about the possibility of a Hawaii cruise in October 2010, the Wonder was already listed at Honolulu for May 6th and 7th. Nothing seemed to have come of this. I have to say I would be very upset if we ended up no going to Kauai as the excursion we are hoping to do there is the one I am looking forward to the most.
