This is some info I noticed on the thread, recently...

Just talked to Disney and was told -

30th - formal night
10th - semi formal
11th - pirate night
12th - semi formal

Don't know if it will change but that is what they said the itinerary is for now.

That is so wierd cuz the the DCL site clearly says (for platinum folks who are able to look at their itinerary and reserved cruise activities) that the Pirate night Deck Party is scheduled for the night we're in Hilo---Day 6, May 4th.....which makes sense because I think thye do usually like to do the pirate fireworks when they're relatively close to a port in case something goes terribly wrong....and the 11th is a sea day way out in the middle of the ocean!

Hi Kaz.....us too! We'll have fun catching up. The last time we saw you was on the Dream maiden voyage on the last night out on our huge deck having champagne and cookies. I had such a great time that night. I can't wait to get some hugs and have another great time.

Oh my!!! That was a gorgeous deck BTW - do you happen to recall the stateroom number by any chance?? Sophie, Joe and Teddy are sailing with us on the Fantasy in November and would love one of those staterooms..

I'm planning to fly out at least a week before the cruise and will see who joins me before the Marathon...

Great to hear the FE groups are under way, YIPEE! Have been dying to start these, I really do need to start planning as I need to bring my FE's from Australia with the international luggage allowances, Last cruise I brought 1 entire suitcase of just FE gifts, It worked out well as I filled it with shopping on the way home

Val and I have been working on this since the beginning of this cruise booking. Val found a lovely Hawaiian Ceremony, I will try and tell you briefly what it is. We will need someone to act as a monerator. (Any kind of official or any Disboarder on board that will be willing to do this.) This person will read about the beauty of the Islands and the beauty of your love today. There will be a Lei exchanged which represents eternal commitment to each other After that there is the vow renewel and at the end of the service a lava rock and a Ti leaf is used to commerate the union.

It is not a very long ceremony and ties in the beauty of Hawaii and the love between us.

Those of you that are interested please let Val know. We were planning on decorating the area for the occassion.

Gee, miss a day or two on here and you have a dozen pages to catch up on. We are also staying at the airport Marriott on the 28th. We are using Mickey's bus too. don't know when we'll be getting in as we are using DCL air/transfers.
