My cousin is taking her DD12 for the 1st time on 4/26 and they only have one day. What do you think the crowds will be like? It's not a blocked day and hours are 9-10 (I think). I'm always trying to find the thread on how to tackle the parks in 1 day but can't find it, so if someone could lead me there?? Also could use some help in planning their ride strategy. Thank you!! I'm so excited for them and want to help make it magical for my niece.

Are they park hopping or just staying at DL?

The most important thing you can do is get there early, before the gates open. Even on busy days, first thing in the morning is prime time. If they want to see Fantasyland, they should head over and do that first. There are no FPs for those rides and they are slow loading and lines get long later in the day.

Also get pick up a FP as soon as possible and at whenever the window opens up for them to get the next one. They can come back anytime after first time on the ticket so they might want to save them for afternoon. We never wait in long stand by lines for rides that have a FP. Roger Rabbit FP isn't connected so you can get a FP for that and one for another ride at the same time.

Well, hard to say. Hopefully most people already had their Spring break by that time, but then it may be crowded anyway.

If they get there before park opening and use FPs as much as possible I'm sure they will have a good time whatever the crowds are. As they park hop, they can pick up a FP before they leave one park and then get another right away as soon as the enter the other. Our first FP at DCA is always Soarin. As for Toy Story, last summer we found that the line got a little shorter around 2ish in the afternoon.
