Just booked our 2008 trip! woo hoo!

I booked it for the week of April 26 to May 3. In the past we have gone the first full week of May to avoid spring break crowds, but I wanted to see Arloe Guthrie at Epcot this year and so we had to book a week earlier.

Over the past 2 days I found out that 2 other families we are friends with are going down the week before us (not together). We were laughing about it last night when we found out another one of our friends was going down the week before us and we were going to miss them. Then it occured to me... that week is spring break for the kids here in NJ!

So this made me start to question, is the week starting April 26th going to still be affected by Spring Break crowds? I would gladly miss out on Arloe Guthrie to avoid the crowds.

I look forward to hearing anyones reply, we are coming from england on the 29 april for two weeks. I am hoping it will not be as crowded.

I believe spring break is over by then especially since Easter is so early (March 23). New England schools are usually last and a lot of them have April 19-27 off this year.

We're also booked April 26-May 3 at POP. We went last year the same week and the crowds were moderate, temps were great.

This year the Cheering/Dance Worlds are being held April 25-27.Cheering at the Milk House at WWS and Indiana Jones at HS. Dance will be held at EPCOT.

Also Grad night at MK on April 25-26. MK closes at 7pm.

That is our favorite time to go to WDW. We have gone in 2005, 2007 and will return for 2 weeks in 2009. Weathers great, crowds are not too bad.

This is so good to hear... We are going April 26th - May 3rd for this very reason. The last 2 years we went the first week of April and it was mad busy. I am really looking forward to going and not having to deal with a crowd. Grad night doesn't bother me, we'll just look for something else to do that night.. Maybe go to DTD since it's the night we fly in and have dinner at RFC and go to bed early so we can get an early start. Man I just can't wait... I so need this vacation and our DS10 won't know (hopefully) until we head to the airport.

My family and I were there around that time last year and the crowds were mild...They weren't too heavy though but be prepared to experience some long lines.....
