Thanks for posting all the check lists we just had notes listed on paper the closest we are to packing are camera bags

Im hoping my sister will come join this lovely thread. Your excitement has really been contagious. I cant believe we are going on this cruise. I am soo exciting..Hubby and I decided to do things differently this time. We usually play BINGO and shop. We want to learn more things like some of the classes and tours..What about you guys?

Good morning everyone! Happy Wednesday!

Our packing strategy is to do the lists first. Then about 2-3 weeks before the cruise we start laying things out on our dining room table and bring up our rolling rack for the hanging clothes. At the same time we go through the toiletry bag and see what needs to be replaced or added. We then usually pack everything up the weekend before we leave. That way we are nice and fresh and not trying to pack after a full day at work.

I've seen Navigator's from previous cruises and there are some interesting classes: (ice sculpting, towel folding, etc.). We'll play it by ear. I'd like to get in some Bingo; as long as we're not trying to fill 10 cards at the same time, it should be pretty relaxing. :-)

Mary - it sounds like you have this down to a science. :thumbsup2

Learned it all from my dear departed Mother. She was great at organizing for a trip.

A morning UTOP with Randy and my Mom!

PDFG and all our friends who need it.

Almost forgot. We had some fun at our house last night. Mark is always looking at the new releases on video and came home yesterday with the first season of The Love Boat! Corny but fun to watch. I so remember when that was first run and how impressive the Pacific Princess was. By today's standards it would be a tiny ship. I actually got to see it once when I was in Acapulco at the same time. They wouldn't let us go on board (even though we were allowed an another Princess ship earlier that same trip.

Ditto. Except for the rolling clothes rack.
I will have to start a titch earlier b/c the kids need spring clothes and dinner clothes. First I need to go through and inventory what they have and what I need to get more of. :)
And lately we've been doing all packing the night before the trip. But we have extensive lists and it's only a matter of collecting things and putting them in suitcases. We also have the added benefit of having the kids old enough to tell them what to go get and have them get it. :)

I'm going to have to check Netflix for these! I used to watch it all the time as a kid.

We watched the Love Boat as well. :thumbsup2 It entertained many families for many seasons. It was a real boost to the cruiser industry.

:sail: It started me thinking of a trip on the sea. My first was not much of a cruise, but it was at sea. The Big White Ship to Catalina Island in Southern California. 26 miles as the song goes. That was the start. Big cruise, huh.

We are down to 47 days before we leave and counting down each one of them. Each day I read a little more of the PassPorter WDW & Cruise. We are in the high vibe :goodvibes mode.

We will have to look for the "LOVE BOAT" video this weekend. We will really date our selves now the show was still on TV when we went on our Honeymoon NCL Starward and we still have all the daily navigators and menus. it is nice to see all the group posting activity now have a great Thursday

Good morning everyone - happy Thursday!

I need to start thinking about what I'll be wearing on the cruise. Going shopping with some girlfriends on Saturday and I'll be looking for a dress for Formal or Semi-Formal night. I already have one but looking for another. Nothing too fancy but still nice.

Better not be fancy! Of I'll look like something the cat dragged in!

Cant wait to shopping. Mom just called and said Dillards is having a big sale of formal dresses. Wish I had one close by.

Does anyone know what days are which show?

I know Saturday night will be the Welcome Aboard and the last one is Remembering the Magic but whats in the middle. Does it change from Easter to Western cruises.

Sister wants to know which nights to use the nursery if Owen cant get into the club!

Based on looking at the 1/19/08 Navigators the nights seem to work out like this:

Saturday - Welcome Aboard Show - Cruise Casual attire

Sunday - Golden Mickey's - Formal attire

Monday - Twice Charmed - Cruise Casual attire

Tuesday - Movie in WD theatre/Pirate night deck party - Pirate or Cruise Casual attire

Wednesday - Showtime (cabaret acts) - Cruise Casual attire

Thursday - Disney Dreams - Semi-formal attire

Friday - Remember The Magic - Cruise Casual attire

Hey there fellow cruisers...

Just wanted to say hi...we're also going to be on the April 26th cruise...and we're so excited!

My name is Tami (28), my husband is Tom (31), and we have two children. Anthony turned 4 in February and Savannah turned 2 in January. Tom and I have been on 2 other Disney cruises (a 3-day and a 4-day), and Anthony was on the 4-day Disney cruise with us. We're looking forward to our first 7-day Disney cruise!

We're traveling with a bunch of people...my husband's mother, grandfather, aunt, brother and his girlfriend! The more the merrier!

I would be interested in knowing when/if you all are planning a little meet-up...not sure I can commit to much, considering we're traveling with so many people and things will be pretty crazy, but it would be good to know in case we're able to pop in on something.

Looking forward to (hopefully) seeing you all there!

~Tami
