Tastings? You bet!
I plan on tasting the stollen bread at Palo Brunch.
I plan on tasting the chicken fingers out by the pool.
I plan on tasting some ice cream by the pool.
I plan on tasting some creme brulee and chocolate lava cake.
Oh you meant the wine, beer or martini tastings. No, not my thing. Sorry Mike just couldn't resist.![]()
I'll be tasting the same things as Mary. But I'll be adding vanilla sauce from the kids menu to the chocolate lava cake (mary will too, she just didn't come out and say it!)
And maybe not the chicken fingers. Not a fan. But I'll substitute pizza.
And we've left the kids on the ship while we've been off. We tell the kids they MUST stay in the club or lab and we let the counselors know we'll be off the ship. As soon as we get back on the ship we check in with everyone. There has never been a problem. The kids are 13 and 11 now, but when we started cruising in 2003, they were close to your kids' ages, zerog
St. Maarten and St. Thomas: We're still trying to decide what to do. I started a thread in the Q&A boards. We don't want to leave the kids on this ship; I've heard of people doing this but it doesn't sound like a good thing to do. Sooooo, we'll be shlepping the 5 and 8 year old around the islands.
St. Thomas - we're going to St. Johns for this trip.
WDW: Thanx for the advice. I had heard (somewhere) that St. Johns has a very nice beach. For now, I'm leaning that way - but plenty of time to change my mind.
Is there any way to set a link (bookmark) to this Thread, such that the 'last' page always displays?![]()
No biggie - just that my bookmark (now) points to page 160, at least until I manually change it again.
plus a cute little bird show.
Very cute bird photo! We saw an animal show last weekend ourselves, but no one was allowed to touch the birds. I took the kids to Weeki Wachee (my daughter loves mermaids; and unicorns).
