Not me. I was going to point it out. Same as she'd do for me. Probably why we're such good friends. (either that, or she's really good at faking being my friend) Which is entirely possible. HA!

I'm in one of *those* moods! My cat has thrown me into a funk. I think my medication needs adjusted!

We still need to make the rental car reservations. Confirmed our reservations at the Port Orleans French Quarter and the Polynesian today. still giving thought as to where to have dinner at Epcot the saturday the cruise gets in. It was hot and humid here today we see on the weather is was lots worse where many of our fellow cruisers are

Ok well I'm emotionally drained. Had a very bad day. Had to terminate the employement of one of our employees today. Nice guy but just wasn't getting it even after working here over year. Then after work went to visit our HR director. She lives just a few blocks from me and lost her 24 year old son over the weekend. I brought her cards from all the different departments. His memorial service is this Saturday and she has stated she wants everyone who comes to be in bright festive clothing. No black or grey. It will be a celebration of his life. Add to that the terrible heat and humidity and I just feel drained. Sorry to be such a downer. I promise tomorrow will be a happier day.

It's ok. Sometimes down days just find us. I've had two back to back. Dang cat peeing on the couch (again) as yesterday. Today was the realization that I majorly *@&^#'d up that Pooh afghan I was working on. (sigh)

I'd eat a huge bowl of ice cream tonight, but I did that LAST night.

wdwluvrs - are you stay at POFQ before or after the cruise? Dh and I will be there after the cruise from saturday until tuesday. POFQ is our favorite moderate resort. We're keeping our eye out for AP rates on Beach Club through.

I'm trying to think of a way to describe our transportation issues to the port, without sounding like a smart-alec, but I can't think of anything. So basically here it is - Saturday morning we'll get up and drive the 8 miles to the port and then get on the ship.

Wendy you've got the right idea Tequila tasting sounds good to us too we will be at the POFQ after the cruise we love this resort too we can not say how many times we have stayed there we find it relaxing and small by Disney standards

LAKE BUENA VISTA — Disney is dropping MGM from the name of its movie-based theme park.

The company announced Thursday that beginning in January Disney MGM Studios will become Disney Hollywood Studios.

Company officials said the idea is to match the name of the park to its broader theme.

“The new name reflects how the park has grown from representing the golden age of movies to a celebration of the new entertainment that today’s Hollywood has to offer — in music, television, movies and theater,” Walt Disney World Resort President Meg Crofton said in a statement.

The name change will coincide with several new attractions at the park, including:

# The interactive Playhouse Disney-Live on Stage show will close for most of January, reopening in February featuring new cast members from more recent Disney Channel television shows including “Little Einsteins,” “Handy Manny” and “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.”

# A new audience-participation ride based on the Pixar movie Toy Story. Toy Story Mania will take riders through a series of carnival games hosted by characters from the movies. Riders will get a chance to compete against friends and other riders.

We did the wine tasting last time but not the tequila tasting the last cruise. If yall do it we should all sit together. It would definitely be more fun with others. And I do agree POFQ feels like such a small resort that's why we love it. Even through we stayed at the furthest building it was still very close to the food court, pool, and lobby.

Oh my gosh, I'm melting here in Atlanta. The temp was 103, heat index of 115 and smog alert on RED today. It makes for a very uncomfortable day. Even the doggies don't want to go outside.

darn it I missed a UTOP by seconds. Stupid dogs they wanted to be let inside. Why can't they figure out how to open the doors themselves. Oh wait that would probably be really bad b/c my weimie would end blowing up like a huge elephant.

On another note, that is interesting about MGM not being MGM anymore. It's going to be hard to not say MGM. But the Toy Story ride sounds good. I wonder where they are going to put it.

Wendy that would be fun Eileen and I did the wine tasting on our last cruise and I did the Tequila tasting by myself we may eve try the Beer tasting too what the heck we are on vacation Eileen's looking to do a spa treatment when we are in st martin I'm hoping to do the regatta that day

I'll be in chicago in 2 weeks as well! My girlfriends and I are taking a girls only weekend trip up there. We leave on thursday night and come home on sunday. I've never been so I'm super excited.
