wow turn your back for a minute and 8 pages of post. seems like only about 5 of us are posting. where has everyone else that will be cruising gone. I have never owned a thong but have mirror sunglasses I spent a year in San Fransisco and remember going for rides on us1. Ive found 3 pictures so far to use as back drops for door signs.

They both say 14 months 4 weeks now. Are you sure you have the exact same date and time for them. If one of you haves it set for sailing day and the other for maybe the day you arrive (which could be before) that could be in. When I've done a cruise ticker I've always used the sailing day set at 5 pm Eastern (which is when we should be sailing).

I think I probably have it set for April 26th PST (and they probably figure April 26th midnight). Maybe I'll go change it to 5pm EST! That could be why! No biggie, just something I observed!

As for the green light.When you go to your user CP (the red bar at the top) and then go to Edit Options (the 4th link from the top) there is a box you can check called "Use Invisble Mode". When you have this on you can be on the boards and your green light is never on.

Good morning, everyone!

Nothing too exciting going on here today. Have to finish up a little school we didn't get to earlier this week. Then this afternoon we drop KT off at a sleepover and we head to Easton to the Apple Store. This time it's a return.
Then I think we'll do Red Robin for dinner b/c Mike got an email for his free birthday burger. So free burger and one less kid will keep us in our dining budget for this month Other than that, nothing going on.

have fun! We just got a Red Robin here a year ago. We went there for the first time on my DS's birthday in November. They have awesome salads too! DH got a $50 certificate from a customer for Christmas, we haven't used it yet though!

those west coast people???? How insulting!! We are still sleeping at 6:30 on a Saturday morning, dreaming of a Disney cruise!

so remember the kitty I told you all about that just showed up at our doorstep one day? Well, he lived outside for a while and kept coming back, and we kept feeding him. Alan wouldn't let me keep him, so I called a friend of mine who is doing pet rescue and she said she'd take him to pet adoption. She picked him up and took him to the vet to get him fixed and for shots. Then, he came back to our house. She asked us to foster him until she found a home. That was last week Wednesday. She didn't get him for pet adoptions that weekend, but today, we drove out to the next town over (Moorpark, Jen ) where there's a Petco and they had pet adoption there! I cried as I put him in his little cage! I really hope he will find a good home! This rescue group doesn't just give the animals to anyone. You apply, and they come to your house and make sure you can take proper care of the animal. I really like that and it makes me feel better about giving him away!

I know in my heart my DH is right about this, we really shouldn't be bringing another kitty in the house. He's been living in our downstairs bathroom for a week and it's just not fair to him. I can tell he's lonely, even though the kids and I go in and visit him all the time. He needs to be with people all the time. The cat that we have does not tolerate other cats very well, that's why we haven't let him roam around the house. We didn't want her getting upset!

We'll pick him back up today at 4pm and if someone was interested in him today, they will go do a home check and he should be gone within a few days If noone is interested this weekend, we'll go through it all again next week! It just gets harder and harder to part with him. The kids are really attached to him!

did you all get trip insurance through Disney? I didn't get any when I booked, plan on getting in on my own, but not until closer to the trip. If you didn't go through Disney, which company did you use?

And Jen, are you flying out of LAX or Burbank? I am looking at flights already, even though there is nothing available yet for April 2008, but I am sure the times won't change much. I am thinking about a Delta redeye flight Thursday night out of LAX, that would get us to Florida Friday morning. Does anyone know of a hotel in Port Canaveral where we can check in in the morning? We'd like to do that and then just relax on Friday and recover from the flight/time change, maybe swim a little. We were thinking about maybe the Radisson. Does anyone know if they let you check in early?

Yeah, that's a compliment.

Actually, funny story. I got into an elevator on the Magic on the first day of our 10 day Christmas cruise. I was proudly wearing the shirt that gaRry had organized and had made for us. This woman gets in with me, looks at my shirt and scowls....and says in a sarcastic voice....."oh, you're one of THOSE people!!!" Hey, I was pretty happy about it b/c I never was in any big groups in middle or high schol (other than the geeky science club group)

Turned out she was the wife of a DISer.

do you guys know anyone that was on the maiden voyage of either the Magic or Wonder? I am just wondering if the price was significantly higher on the maiden voyage than any of the others.

This may sound really crazy but I am really thinking about putting in a request to IC for the maiden voyage for a possible West Coast ship! Probably not going to happen until at least 2010 or even later, but I would *love* to do that!
