We saw it on the two palms cam we try to watch on Saturdays and Sundays. We are into serious mode on checking our clothes. so nice to see all the postings. Randy we hope ether Steph's test is in the morning or she can get a postponement.

Good Morning everyone!!! I hope you all had a good weekend. I realized this weekend that I only have 8 of them left to try to accomplish things for our cruise. There is so much to do and I have no idea where to start. I do have a question...how far is the parking lot from the port? If my husband drops us all off does he have to take a shuttle from the lot? I think I have heard there is an escalator that goes up into the port (I could be wrong) and I can't imagine myself trying to go up that with two kids a stroller and carry ons. I didn't know how long I would have to wait for him to come back and help us while he is parking the car.

For our May 2007 Cruise, I arrived at the port at 10:30am. I dropped off all the luggage and family at the front, tipped the porter, and then proceeded to park the car. Meanwhile, Steph took the kids up the escalator (elevator available I'm sure), after going thru the security check, and then immediately received our Group number (we got group 4, which told us which group to enter the ship). I parked my car about 50 feet from the entrance. For late arrivals, I can't answer - but I'm pretty certain that all parking places are easily within walking distance. I then carried our carry-on bag thru the security point and up the escalator as well.

Then, we went thru the check-in process which is when I realized that I had left my VISA in the car. LOL - I had so many things on my mind, that I forgot to put the VISA back in my wallet after I paid for parking. DOH.... Luckily, the VISA card was right there on the seat when I went back to the car. That would have been an ugly way to start a cruise - losing your credit card.

The two times we've parked at the port I just waited outside for Mark to come from the car. It only takes a few minutes to park and then walk back over.

Randy - good thing you realized you left it there when you did. I know that on the last cruise we were already on board when Mark realized he left his sun glasses in the car. They let him go back out and get them which was nice.
