Hi All. It's our family's first cruise ever. We're all so excited! Just counting down the days now.

I would also like to know more about the fish extenders giving...sounds like fun!

Well, it looks like there's a lot of interest in fish extenders for our trip, but it doesn't look like a list has been started yet. I know that most of us are new to the fish extender thing, but let's just go for it! It might just be a small number of us, but that will give us even more room to get CREATIVE!

It looks like most of the other FE threads maintain their sign-ups in a Google doc, so I will attempt to do so here:

Thanks for putting that together. Already started on some of the FE gifts woohoo:

EDIT: I would add that there should be a cut off, perhaps 2 weeks, or other suggestions, before the sail date so that we are not rushed at the last minute.

I plan on mailing my FE and door decorations to the ship instead of dealing with all that in our luggage. Anyone thinking of doing this should be reminded that NO food is allowed to be mailed to the ship. If the dogs catch a wiff of it, it does not go on board the ship (so I've read.)

Did anyone sign up for the port adventures yet? i already signed up for the dolphin swim at the Atlantis in Nassau. I also wanted a cabana but they are already boooked up.

HNW999, thanks for the great suggestions! I was thinking 2 weeks sounded good, too. I added a note to the top of the page that sign-ups will be open until 4/11/13, and I can make it read-only after then. And I'm so glad to hear I wasn't the only one anxious to get started on their FE gifts!

River Country, love your DIS name! We haven't signed up for any port adventures yet, but we're definitely planning on some water activities. I was surprised to see all the cabanas booked already also. Hope that doesn't mean it will be a crowded trip!

I have read that if you go to guest services as you enter the ship (1st thing) and ask, there's a chance of getting one.

We have not booked anything yet. I would love a day at Atlantis but we are doing many other things this vacation (the cruise is just part of it) so I think we will go to the free public beach on nassau. Enjoy the dolphin experience. We have done it at Discovery cove and loved it.

Kierra - Let me know if you get the FB thing rolling. Not a huge FB fan but will lurk and post as necessary.

Unfortunately, I am leery about having info about the dates I'll be cruising show up in my timeline. I have a few FB acquaintances that I wouldn't want to tell the dates my house would be vacant. Sheesh, that sounds awful, doesn't it?

I'll try to lurk around to keep up with the chatter til it goes private, though! I'm excited, too!

Oh no I totally understand the privacy issue..we can make the FB private NOW if everyone wants to....they would just have to let me know on here that they wanted to be added. If the FB is private you can not even search for it nor does any post show in timelines..period! I belong to several closed Disney Custom Clothing pages that are Private and a member must request to add people! Just let me know how everyone feels..I figure when we want to start posting pics of FE's or whatever it would be easier on FB..totally up to everyone!

Haaaaaa....I'm so glad to hear it wasn't just me. Been searching for the group all week and couldn't find it. I figured it was because I'm FB-challenged...ha! KerriA, I sent you a PM earlier about signing up.
