April 22, 2006 - 7-night Western!!!

Hi Queen2, That's true NH doesn't have any snow and January and February were quite warm for us. March has been quite cold some days well below average. It's too bad that the Special Olympics had to be cancelled. It is a great event.

See you in 4 weeks.

Mharring33 ,
The week before western Maryland had there winter games we were invited there. So at least our athletes had the chance to ski. We have been invited back to NH next year. hope they have snow. Heard Watervalley is a great place. :thumbsup2

Hi, I'm so glad I found you guys. We booked our cruise last month and I can't stop thinking about it. My husband and I are taking our 2 boys, ages 3 and 5. They are looking forward to it! I'm still trying to learn about this forum, so forgive me if I'm confused about icons and symbols. Talk to you soon!

:Pinkbounc Packed and ready for our first Disney cruise :Pinkbounc

We are flying in from Salem, Oregon and are cruising with Dznyjenn and family to make 10!!!

I have reached the spontaneous YIPPEE outburst point - no control over when it happens...just happens  My poor co-workers :teeth:

Hi all !! :yay:

We're still in the same ship.
Don't forget counting us!!
We live in Tokyo-Japan.

We'll start our Disney Vacation from on April 11.

DH (Daichi: 29) :smickey:
Me (Yumi: 29) :tink:

I can't wait the day !!!
I'm looking forward to meeting all of you in this thread. :thumbsup2

My DD and I are flying down early on April 21st. We are staying at the CBR the night before we cruise. DH unfortunately has to teach at school that day but will meet up with us late in the evening. DD and I have tossed around different ideas on what to do with ourselves that day, 1. spa at the Floridian 2. Magic Kingdom 3. Downtown Disney 4. just lounge by the pool at day. We are torn because we have so many choices and so little time.

I'm soliciting opinions from my fellow sailmates. What would you do for the day with your DD(11)?

I wish we were coming down a day early because I want to go to the Water Park!

I was watching it on the Travel Channel today - trying to figure out how we could squeeze it into the day we get back since our flight doesn't leave until 4 something! It would not add to our costs as we still have entrances on our Park Hopper Tickets from last year.

Hello Mharring33 !!
How about going to Epcot ?
It's the first day of the Flower and Garden Festival in Epcot.
You can see many Disney character topiaries and 50 Hidden Mickey in the garden. :hippie:
We'll also go there that day to purchase "The Art of Disney" stamps produced by the U.S. Postal Service.

On April 21st:: Extra Magic Hours
morning- MGM /// evening- Magic Kingdom and Epcot

So you can enjoy the MK until 12am. :wizard:

Mharring33

What time do you get into Orlando on Friday? I believe the water parks are open until 5 or 6 PM. Not trying to add more confusion to your decision, but if there is any way that you can squeeze in Blizzard Beach on Friday you will love it!! My two DS's and I visit Blizzard Beach every time we are there and it is honestly our favorite day of each visit. :jumping1:

See you in 25 days!!! :cool1:

A huge group of us our going on the 4/22 cruise to celebrate my husband and my 10th anniversary. Normally we do a walk for the national multiple sclerosis society on that weekend. We have decided to do the walk anyway on the ship. ON Monday @ 11am we will all be meeting to walk around the ship on deck 4 to honor our tradition. For those of you who may be interested in walking with us please let me know. There is a website with the MS society where you can officially sign up and make your donations directly or you can raise money on your own and give it to me on the ship. I can assure you that this is a great cause and 100 % of the money will get to the society. you will need to go to the national ms society website to sign up. i cant post the url

we are team Horizon our participation site is New Jersey, sandy hook
our code # is NJMWHORC01
Hi again. I was very interested in participating in the MS walk. What is the website to go to for more information? How long is the walk? Please let me know. Thank you.

this time in three weeks we will be at DTD  :cheer2:  :cheer2: I'm ready to do the DOC dance :dancer: :dancer: :dancer:

Hmm...excited? NO. More like ECSTATIC!!!!!! :Pinkbounc At this time in 3 weeks we will be on Florida turf :cool1:

I'm almost completely packed, which is normally a "night before" thing for me. But with sooo much to pack for the 3 of us for 10 nights away from home, I got a jump start on it.

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy...........................

And let me just tell you how extremely artistically (computer too) challenged I am, but I managed to hand craft a magnetic door sign. I'm sure it will look sad in comparison to the ones made by experienced and talented DIS'ers but I'm still proud of mine! :teeth: If I knew which cabin we were in I would post the # so you could all stroll by and admire my sign :rotfl2:

See you all soon, real soon!!!

Gina

DH, DS & DGODD are packed. My DH gave me orders to be packed before midnight before we leave :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: . The shuttle well be picking us up at 7:00am & I'll still be putting clothes in the suitcase :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Oh, received my Disney Express tickets& luggage tags today the is half a dance :dancer: :dancer:

Excitement is building! I can't believe it's coming so fast! Are we organizing a way to identify each other, or a formal meet-up?

:firefight What is this about changing ports? Maybe no Cozumel? I donate platlets and dont want to have to give it up for a year if I get off the ship. What a bummer.
What is the passporter? What are the gift bags some of you are getting for kids? Where are they be ordered?
I tried to make res. for Palo (online) and was told there were none left. Whats up with that?
Thanks!! :)

It would be nice if you organized it ;) that would be nice

Just look for the super glow-in-the-dark white legs and you have found Eeeyoregon!! Lord help me, I tried sunless tan stuff and it didn't go so well :rotfl2:

I can tell it's getting closer because I have started having vivid dreams about the cruise(ones that I actually remember when I wake up).

The one I had last night might border on nightmare...dreamt we got to the airport and our luggage weighed too much so we started discarding bags left and right. When we got to the port, I realized I had "thrown" out the bag with the custody decree stating that I have sold custody of my boys. They wouldn't let us on the ship............... :sad2:
