April 20th 2013 Fantasy

Happy Monday all.... Just wanted to stop in a say a quick hello and introduce my self. We were originally booked for this very same ship/Itinerary that was due to sail on Jan 26th 2013, but hubby took a big pay cut and there is ZERO way we could pay off the balance before Nov 14th....so after looking at all the kid's school schedules we found that April 20th actually works better for us. And besides that our twin boys will turn 12 on April 20th so they are excited.

This will be our 5th Disney cruise, with it being our 9th cruise total. We have been on the Magic for all four of our Disney cruises with all of them being 7 nighters. So looking a little forward to trying out the new ship. We are in love with the Magic so hope this lives up for us. Due to the size for our family we always have to book connecting cabins. This time around we have cabins 8150 & 8152 Sailing will be me Rebecca 47, DH Earl 47, DD Jennah 16, DD Macy 14 and the twins Kasey & Kaleb as I said will turn 12 the day of.

We requested late dinning which we PRAY we will get for two reasons. #1 A LOT less kids and #2 since we are from he West Coast not feeling like we are eating dinner at 3 or 4pm

As for excursions we will be renting ATVS in St. Thomas and Jet skis in San Juan on our own. We have rented the atvs our last trip to St. Thomas and it was a HUGE BLAST. If there is a fb page please let me know so I can join I love posting so you will probably get sick of me if so just let me know. Have a great Monday all.

We just got off the inaugural eastern on the Fantasy, and our friends had that room, right below us (we were in 8188). This is a center aft room with a huge balcony. They had lounge chairs delivered, so you should be set. You will enjoy the room.

We will be on this cruise as well.

We were on that first Eastern too!

Hi everyone, we will be joining you all on the 4/20 Disney Fantasy sailing. Just registered for these boards today, but booked this cruise several months ago. Usually post over on a different cruise board, but not much action for this sailing over there.

We are spending four days after the cruise in Orlando. More than likely doing Disney World, but still working out our plans.

Just got back from 7 days at Disneyland so can now start focusing on this trip. Definitely will be ready for another Disney fix come April!

I joined/posted over a week ago and not one person said hello so far. Our last cruise we were so chatty that we had closed down and reopen three times. Your girls are going to sailing on Disney. We literally can not DRAG our kids out of the kids clubs. And the ship is REALLY good at allowing the parents to go off the ships for excursion and watching the kids and feeding them. They will probably also love the Movie Theater. They will show any Disney movie that is currently out in the theaters plus some others that are fun to watch. If you have any questions just ask this will be our 5th Disney cruise, but our 1st on the Fantasy.

to the newbies! We are so excited to be going on our first 7-day. We have been to Castaway Cay, but not the other ports on this cruise. I have heard a lot of neat and fun things to do in San Juan so I am very excited about our stop there. It will be me, DH, and DS 8. Looking forward to getting to know y'all.

Thanks for the welcome. If Castaway Cay is better than Half Moon Cay then I am all the more excited for it! Half Moon Cay is probably my favorite place in the Caribbean. We usually get a cabana on HMC, but I don't think we will get one for Castaway Cay since we will want to be wandering around exploring the island.

I am sure our kids will love the kids club, but I am a tiny bit worried about how crowded they will be. Our kids are used to sailing HAL and Princess with maybe 100 kids onboard. The nice thing about so few kids is that they get tons of attention, but the downside is of course less activities and other kids for them to play with. I am sure they will be fine and kicking and screaming to stay just like all the other kids

Went down to the beach this past Monday and watched the Wonder sail by. Kids were disappointed they didn't hear the horn. Earlier in the season we watched her depart from the port and got to hear it.

Welcome! This is our first DCL cruise and we are over the moon excited! It'll be me, DH and three DD's (7, 10, and a couple weeks shy of 13- maybe she will hook up with your DD!). DH and I have been on two small RCL trips and fell in love with cruising. So the idea of a week on Disney is amazing!

Hi All,

We just booked today! There will be three of us on the April 20th cruise, Myself, DW and DD(9) This will be the first Disney Cruise for the family and this will be the fourth cruise overall for my wife and I, and the second cruise for our daughter.

Our last cruise was on the NCL Epic in 2011 and we are really looking forward to the Disney Cruise experience!

There have been some rumblings of getting some of these kiddos acquainted before the cruise. We have 3 DD's that will be 12, 10 and 7 at cruise time. Noticed you have a 9 year old girl and I know my 10 year old would love to make some friends! Not really sure how it would work to hook the kids up, but.... Please let me know your thoughts.

Unfortunately we decided to change our dates and go in a kid-less cruise in January for our 13th anniversary (and official honeymoon!). I'm really bummed now since there's more girls her age joining now. On our last two cruises there was only one on each
