April 2019 Advice

Plan on visiting for 2 weeks in April. We can be there anytime between April 10 and April 29 - but will only spend a max of 14 nights there

We want to spend 3 days at Disney (AK, MK and a water park) and then 3 days at Universal. The rest of the trip will be spent in Fort Lauderdale area. We've done Disney before, but not Universal.

Given that Easter weekend is April 19-22 - which dates would be recommended to visit the parks. My initial plan is to do them right away - April 10 - 16. Or would it be better to do the beach first and then end with the parks towards the end of April. Which is best for the least busiest crowds.

Easter is Sunday April 1, this year. We are going to WDW on April 8 - 14th because we figured the crowds might be lower that week since it is after Easter I know that as a retired school teacher the middle weeks of April are usually set aside for state testing. We figured that the crowds might be lower since parents don't normally take their children out of school during that time.

The weekends in April might have higher crowds at WDW because of Flower and Garden festival. You have some nice choices to make. Hope you have a wonderful vacation.

PS - I would probably go to WDW right away and avoid the week before Easter and the week of Easter. - Once again have fun!
