Wow, down to the minute, that's impressive!! While I am excited about our departure day, I am also dreading it a bit. We will be flying all the way across the country. We are used to going to WDW, where it is a direct, 1.5 hour flight!
We're coming from AK on Friday, will be a total of 2,397 miles! It takes 2 flights to get us there. Not looking forward to it either, especially because it's a red-eye, but I booked that one purposely so we can have a full day there. I can't wait for touch down at SNA!!
less than 2 weeks now! Super excited. Anxious for it to be a little closer so we can start deciding what to pack. I love how the weather is all over the place, just like Florida's.
I need to stop checking Accuweather's forecast! I still am 3 weeks out, but they do a forecast over a month out! At first it was predicted to be kind of chilly, and then warmer in the 80s and now chilly again. I am fairly certain I won't really know until a few days before. Makes it hard for a girl to plan her wardrobe!

I keep looking and today breathed a sigh of relief when it indicated it might be a bit cooler than it originally was predicted. I don't do so well above 80 degrees...
I went by myself when I was 18 (on my way home from Tahiti), and I had a great time. I ended up flying home with a child-sized Mickey Mouse. Hard to believe that was the year of their 25th! anniversary.Thanks for the encouragement! It looks like my first solo trip will now only be 50% solo -- a friend is joining me on Saturday.
Well now the forecast is showing 72 for tomorrow! Maybe it won't be sunny all day, but I'm thrilled!!

Sunday shows partly cloudy skies at night. I'm most concerned about the parade & fireworks shows being cancelled on one of the nights, wouldn't you say Saturday?? The thing is, I booked a special dinner for us for tomorrow night at Napa Rose, it's called "Chef's Counter" so it's supposed to be a Lonnngggg experience, like 3 hours, and it starts right around the time Paint the Night does! I wonder if we should go through with it, or try to get a reservation elsewhere at a much earlier time to avoid missing the parade? I considered getting an Aladdin's meal, is it worth it to do that to get front views? We don't normally like to eat that late, but that was the only reservation they had available.
