april 2007, were there any deluxe discounts?

We are planning on going to WDW in April 2008. We want to try a deluxe resort this time. We're leaning towards AKL, but Poly would be great. Are discounts ever available at the Poly? We can handle AKL @ rack rate, but Poly rack rate will stretch us a bit.

There were AP rates for the end of April but not at Polynesian. There was also a package discount which included PH & WP for free with a base ticket.

I'm trying to be realistic...not expecting a Poly discount, but one can always hope. I will be happy to try AKL this time, though. Ticket upgrade sounds good too. That's what we got last year and we'd be happy with any kind of discount.

Forget the discount..I just want the package rates to come out so I can book already!
