We had a ice storm last night. We are basically done packing with like 30 days left before we leave. wow

No Cruise docs here, but I know they will be here in time for the cruise!!

So what is the latest count on those participating in the FE Exchange???

Heading to that happy magical place this weekend and want to pick up some goodies....

I'll work on sending out a PM to everyone to get the missing information.... Names, room number, ages of children, email address
Once received I will email out everyone a spreadsheet with all the collected information.

Several have asked about exactly how to do the gifts. It is completely up to you. You can get a family gift, gift for adults, gift for kids. You can do one delivery or deliver several different times throughout the week. The gift can be store bought or homemade. Something useful or memorable for the cruise or even something from your hometown others would like. This is just to add a little pixie dust to the trip and have something to look for in the FE.

WAHOO A month from now we will be crusiing!!!!

Cannot wait!!!

Getting out of town for Mardi Gras and heading to the World for a mini vacation. Get in the Disney Mode before the cruise!!!

At the Mardi Gras parade in our town, there were 50,000 people, that is just nuts..... my kids and grand kids went, but not us.... Mardi Gras in South Mississippi is just as crazy as Mobile or New Orleans!!!

Still no cruise docs yet, but my TA is looking out for them!!! So I will come home from the world and start packing for the cruise!!!!

Hope we can join in this thread! There are 8 of us cruising - myself, DH, DS - 12, DD - 9, DS - 6, and DD - 6, plus my parents. This is our second DCL cruise for some of us, and first for most of us. The kiddies are all very excited - and I was glad to see a number of folks with kids the same age on the thread.

Can anyone give me some ideas for the FE? This will be our first cruise and we want to make a good first impression on our fellow Fer's.

Has anyone ever tried the Amazing Race Cozumel excursion? It's not offered through Disney but we're considering signing up for it. I saw it on TripAdvisor and most people thought it was a blast. I think it's an excursion offered through Royal Caribbean but the company that runs it allows anyone (with money ) to participate.

I need to dig out the clothes I bought for my kids at the end of the summer and see if they are going to fit them. If not I'm going to be scrambling to find warm weather stuff in their sizes. Eeek!

I just did exactly that! Most of the end of season stuff I bought last year worked, but I still had to buy some shorts, bathing suits and Crocs for my boys. I literally cannot buy clothes fast enough for my 11-yr. old son. Got him new sneakers last month -- can you believe he's wearing a size 9 MENS! My husband wears a 10 1/2!
