Tinkified and Msdisney53 - add one more teacher to your list. I am also a Special Ed. teacher. I taught sped. preschool for 24 years and for the past 4 years I've been teaching a self-contained middle school class. Best part of my new job is that I am getting my former preschoolers again!

ok ladies.... hows the diets going to get ready for our cruise mine is going ok unfortunitly today I made a cake using a new recipe to make sure it was good enough to serve for our superbowl party on sunday and well.....

All I can say is its good I'm sooo bad

MassDisLovers: would your daughter be interested in talking to an 8th grade 14yo male (started school late due to birthday and held back one year) or would that be "uncool"? I definitely remember high school as where cool starts to rule but it might even be middle school now.

dis2cruise: Not good at all this week on the diet. The food intake isn't sooooo bad, but getting to the gym has just not happened. Last night I decided I'd rather go home and scrap and I'm going to do the same tonight too. I tell myself that I'm trying to finish the book for mom but it's really just I don't want to go to the gym.

All: I wonder if the kids would like their own thread? Or maybe they just want to post in ours? Or maybe is there one already? I don't know if they'll want to slog through all our adult stuff (or my messages, whatever they may be). At any rate, James is going to be off computer restriction next week (as he keeps wanting to inform me) and he'll probably be on here.

small world Islip terrace is a part of east islip school district. jenny is in 9th and stephen is in 10th. so they probably know each other??!!

I, too, am in a self-contained class. Full time til June as a leave replacement. I have 10 boys, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th grade. Some days I want to pull my hair out.

I have just 4 girls right now...it's unbelievable! We started the year out with 5 girls and 2 boys but have had some moves and transfers. My girls are grades 6, 7, and 8 but they are able to do late first grade/early second grade work. Most days we have a lot of fun but some days the "girl stuff" gets a little out of hand! We are in the process of raising money to go to the cosmetology shop at the local vocational high school for a "Day of Beauty". The girls all want to get their hair, nails and make-up done... good incentive to do that math every day!

Yes, I think she would like that- especially when I tell her that it's Hypermommy's son! My whole family hears all about the Adventures of Hypermommy. Everyone loves it except DH who just shakes his head as if to say "What is wrong with my wife?"
Kelly is a very friendly kid- with boys and girls. She is not really "into" boys yet - what I mean is that she still likes having boys as friends and isn't looking at each one according to their boyfriend potential!

Is anyone else looking forward to LOST tonight? I bought chips and dip for the occasion, definately not in the program but I have do aerobics everyday this month and although I am only down 2 pounds, my pants are definately looser today

DISUnplugged is the podcast associated with this board. I think if you go out to the main pages (click on the DISboards.com logo at the top left of the page) and you should be able to find it. DU is Dreams Unlimited Travel Incorporated, a travel agency and a sponsor of this board.

I got INCREDIBLY lucky. Last year I sent them a question via email and on Christmas day they took all the questions emailed and called in over the course of the year and put them all in a pile and picked one name. Wow!!

I think we are changing the pre-cruise meet to FISHLIPS. They take reservations. Friday nights at these places can be quite crowded. The restaurants are right next to one another on the water.

Yes, go to disneycruise.com and click on ONBOARD and click on ACTIVITIES and you will get info on the clubs available for the different age groups. The Stack is for teens.

Well the 24th will be a glorious day.
I think you mean Sessions because the Cadillac Lounge is on the Wonder and Sessions is on the Magic.
Sessions is a nightclub. If you want to definately be inside, then go with Sessions, however, if it were me...
I would want to be out on deck 7 with the ocean breeze and beautiful view.
