April 18 to 24 - Live Trip Report

Dino CS somewhat redeemed, more on that later. It wasn't that bad. Entering 20 min stand by queue for Dinosaur right now. I peed first though, so I should be able to make it thru with dry pants
Weather is overcast, not too bad.
We sat in the trailer part of the restaurant, which was cute. DH actually loved his angus burger. DD loved her corn dog nuggets. My chicken sandwich was dry but not terrible.

Survived Dino, barely. Heading to EE for FP

Torrential downpour. I've taken refuge in a toilet. DD and DH went back to Dinoland. We'll meet up later.
Purchased poncho but I was already drenched. I'll wait here a bit before venturing out to the shops.

You're really getting a lot done. I hope the rain let's up soon. I'm worried about or 3.5 hour drive from Key Largo to Orlando on Thursday - rain could turn that into a much longer trip! Did you like Dinosaur? We went once when DD was 5 and we all had headaches the rest of the day. It could be so much better if it were smoother.

Rain stopped. Drying out in front of fan now near closed shop for a bit, then Going to try to find FP kiosk in Outfitter shop.

Wound up doing an earlier Lion King, then leaving as its raining again. More ominous clouds in the sky. We're soaked to the bone. On the tram now to head back to Pop.
Looking forward to a relaxing evening. Maybe some pool time later and a big steak. Maybe a little shopping.

Even with the rain you still managed to get a very eventful day in!

Back at Pop relaxing in the room. DD and DH just left for the arcade. We're going to Texas Roudhouse for dinner at 6pm. We love the bread there.

My dogs are barking and we've got a HUGE MK day tomorrow, so it's a rest night tonight.

Here are the ride to goals for today - 2x Everest (1 w/ FP, 1 w/15 min standby), 1 Safari w/FP, 2x Dinosaur nearly walk on standby. We also saw Lion King.

EE was closed after rain/lightening started. Overall a good day. If not for rain we could have done more. I never could find the FP kiosk by Outfitters to try my other bands. We didn't need them though.

Tomorrow is BOG pre-open breakfast so it will be an early start! Hoping to really take advantage of rope drop to get some Commando Worthy ride totals! I can't WAIT to be at MK!

Hey! A live TR - you're awesome. Just catching up with your trip so far. I'm wide awake since 5 while everyone else is snoring away here in our room. That stinks about your flight. When I read that my heart sank for you. Have had issues before with very early flights, they never seem to have enough staff at the airport at that hour to handle parking, luggage and security.

Glad to see you finally arrived! Sounds like you had a lot of fun at EP. We're here in Key Largo and it's also been very hot and humid. I'm glad the rain you were worried about hasn't affected your trip. Hoping for more great weather today as we will be swimming with some dolphins!

Dolphin swim was wonderful! DD has been begging for years and Key Largo is definitely the best place to do it.

Good morning! Up at 5:30am today. And the family was up by 6. Everyone is on board for Breakfast BOG!

We'll leave at 7 am to get to our 8:20 reservation. Valet park at Contemporary, which I've never done before so I want extra time. We did not pre order, I wish we would have but its too late now.

Weather on WESH says 88 degrees today with 20% chance of rain. Current temp is 69 degrees with 93% humidity. At Pop the parking lot for the 60s section seems a super LONG way away from our building.

We're in the car now driving to contempo. Way early I think. 7:11 am!

This is so great. I hope you have a wonderful day at MK. We were there last week and I could not believe the heat. I'm living vicariously through you as I cope with Disney withdrawal. Have fun at breakfast. Curious about what you think. We had lunch there last Wednesday and I won't be going back. Columbia Harbor House is far better.
