I agree and this winter was not as bad as last year in Maryland, but I'm so ready for spring.

Debbie I do have a question for you about FE, You guys have two families in your cabin. Will you have one or two FE's outside you door?

Hey! Haven't been on the boards since Saturday morning...I know blasphemy! DH and I went away for the night - all the way to Annapolis. We live 10 minutes away from downtown and yet we went and spent the night at a B&B! Reason - met my co-workers and spouses for a fun evening of dinner and bar hopping. I have learned that at 42 (3 months away from 43) that I am too old for that type of an evening...I was exhausted yesterday!

Yes - I have two families in my cabin and we will have two FE's outside the door. My mom and I are doing seperate gifts. Thank you for asking...

My daffodils popped this weekend the minute the snow melted off them! they were sure eager! It is so good to see melting snow!

I wish...... we still have about a foot of snow in the yard and a lot more piled up along the driveway. I can see a very few bare spots, but not anywhere near where our daffodils are. It is good to see the snow melting, sloooowly but surely.

We had about 4 inches of rain yesterday with 50 degree weather, which means ALL that snow we got this winter melted, adding to the 4 inches of rain.

So guess what that means for me??? NO SCHOOL!!! Too many roads are flooded and closed. We plan to wait it out a couple of hours and then go see Gnomeo and Juliet! Then hit the mall, we got a 40% off discount at Justice and plan to go get my DD some cruise clothes!!!!

Hey Deb T., now that the FE's are separated, do you send out the names and ages of participants? I'm anxious to get started on our gifts, especially now that our cruise IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!!!

Yep...my dh was just complaining that the cape and RI had no snow..but here in central Mass, our front yard is covered!! But, it's melting slowly but surely!!! Should be gone completely very soon.
Just made my appt for my precruise mani/pedi...must be getting close.

We only live about 5 minutes from downtown, but I would stay too if I was bar hopping. Where did you stay? On top of Chick and Ruth's Deli . For some reason I have always wanted to stay there.

OMG I wish we stayed on top of Chick and Ruth's!! I really wanted to go there for breakfast yesterday, but was in no shape for breakfast! We barely checked out of room on time!
We stayed at Gibson's Lodging. It is next to the Naval Academy entrance that is on Randall St. behind my favorite Gelato store. One of my co-workers knows the owner and set this up for us a few months ago. We were only charged $50 for the night! The B&B has three or four houses shaped in a square with a courtyard and parking lot in the middle. Our group took over one house. It was good that we were the only guests in there because we were quite rowdy till about 3am! I had heard rumors that Mangia's stays open after the bars close to serve pizza by the slice or a whole pie. Never experienced that before...only have been there for dinner...but now I can say I have experienced Mangia's after 2am - it's insane. But I still say - I am too old for this!!

Hello everyone!

Over the past month we've had some type of illness in our house. Both kids had it, DH had it, but I didn't. Weird, huh? Oh well. This past weekend was the first that I've enjoyed in a long time.

I'm soooo ready for this cruise. It hit me yesterday how close it's getting. I told DH that one night after the kids are asleep, I need to drag out the suitcases and see what I have purchased. We've had it planned since Jan. '10 so I can't remember what I've hid in there.

Wow - I can't believe they closed your schools again! Ours were open but it took us an hour and a half to get home instead of 20 min. LOVE those Justice coupons - just finished DD's spring/summer shopping there

It still says 10A Deluxe Inside Stateroom but then the stateroom number is 2530 which on the deck plans is a 9B.

So I think I got upgraded to a 9B, but I'm not sure.

Pershing - yes it does look like you received an upgrade! Congrats! For some reason, DCL doesn't change the original category notation on reservations, which can be confusing.

I think what Deb meant, was that for those of us that were GTY who have now been assigned cabins, the DCL site still shows your original booking category. But when you look up the cabin number on the deck plans, there is a chance that you were upgraded. I'm not sure if they will upgrade folks with an assigned room. Maybe someone else could chime in on that one...
