I am having fun making/designing some magnetic door signs for our cruise! There is alot of fun & free clip art of Disney characters on the internet. I am making a Happy Birthday sign w/Tinkerbell for my dd. This is my first time making signs...so, I hope she likes it.

Getting closer to cruise time!!

I just called the Resort at the Port and they took my reservation for 10 am for the shuttle!!!

If I hadn't been able to get 10 am I would have driven DW and DD over with the luggage and then come back to the port to catch a later shuttle and meet them but it looks as if I won't have to deal with that.

Patriotsfan: We are doing your plan #2....dropping off family at port & car to budget & hubby returning to port Whew! being from California, I am not so sure how we will be adjusted to 3 hr time diff. to catch a 10am shuttle with 2yr old (& worse a sleepy preteen) but hope to get to the ship by 11:30 or so.

Now starts the waiting for our cruise documents game

We plan on having my DH drop us off at the terminal. He'll return the rental car and take the shuttle.

Is everyone planning on bringing the kids to the meet?

I'm not looking forward to the cruise documents waiting game. We are flying out a few days earlier so that narrows our window of time to receive them. Ugh!! Oh well, not much we can do about it.

Is everyone planning on bringing the kids to the meet?

I am planning on bringing my kids - but we'll see what they want to do. One of the reasons I thought doing this by the Mickey pool made sense, is so the kids can play together while the adults talk and mingle. Knowing how my kids are, give them 3 minutes and they'll be fast friends!

I will be bringing my kiddos too! dd 12 loves to meet people and she loves playing and organizing games with the little kiddos! She is gonna make a great camp counselor/baby sitter when she is older since she loves little kids and they enjoy the attention of an "older" kid.

That was soooooo EASY!!!!!

I just got off the phone with Debbie for the REAS package. I have been putting it off for awhile now. Trying to decide when we wanted to do everything, so we wouldn't miss anything important. (I know, we aren't going to be able to do everything, but a girl can dream, right!) I thought for sure that everything would be booked by now. We have to have specific times due to my sons severe food allergies. We have to make sure that our reservations to not go into the times that the club is going to lunch. (I know that other kids with food allergies have gone to lunch, and Disney is very good with this, but my son has 5 lifethreatning food allergies, so thats not an option for us) Called Debbie at 10:00 am and she answered on the first ring, and we got all of the times we wanted except our massage has to be at 9:15 insted of 10:00. No big deal.

Hollua, what rental car agency are renting from? I getting a car the day before from Bugdet and dropping it off and taking the shuttle too. Was wondering if you ever did that before this is our first time coming in a day ahead. Was wondering how long you have to wait for the shuttle and all, since it will be and my DS14 we will have all the lugage on the shuttle. We are going to hang out at Downtown Disney the night before.

UGH! We have ANOTHER snow storm here - took me over an hour to get home from work tonight. I am so tired of winter, snow and ice... April 16 still seem so far away...

Is anyone else starting to go stir crazy!

Wow! thats alot of snow & cold!

We are cold over hear and its 73 & We get our panties in a knot if we can't wear shorts & sleeves talk about spoiled.....

I've been stir crazy since mid February. I'm so ready to see the end of the snow , but I think we are in for more this weekend!!! Ugh! I decided that with the next storm, I'm going to start packing and think sunny thoughts. Although, it is very sunny out right now, that is, sunny and seven degrees when I took my DD out to wait for the bus.

swede63, I'm 90% sure that we have a rental with Budget. DH kept watching rates and it was a long time ago that we made the reservation. That's why I'm only 90% sure. He may have changed it. We plan on having breakfast at AKL that morning and then head to port. We've never cruised Disney before, but I figure we will arrive early enough that we won't have to worry too much about how long the shuttle takes. If you see a tall dark haired man in desperate need of some sun waiting for the shuttle, ask if his name is Craig. My DH would be happy to help with the luggage.

What a surprise! More than 5 weeks to go, and our cruise documents arrived today! Now, time to start packing!
