:confused3 Will it be crazy busy for these dates? How is the Ramada maingate?? Any advice?2 Adults and 2 kiddies under11. Thanks!

I'm hoping it won't be crazy busy, since that's about when we'll be there too! Since Easter is so early this year, I'm thinking most Spring Breaks will be over by then. :)

:cool1: :cool1: OK, So I booked!!!! We are going!!!! West Jet flights(got a great deal, almost the same as kids fly free) Does anybody out ther know anything about this Motel?? We have booked a Standard room with 2 Queen beds for $98.00 a night. 5 nights get 2 FREE!! Has a fridge and a micro and cont breakfast. Anything I should be aware of????We have stayed twice at the Camelot, but could not pass up 2 FREE nights!!! Also any views on how busy it will be at the parks?? When will the parade and event times be up on the calander?

We stayed there in December. The breakfast is pretty sad, but worked for us as we don't eat huge brekkys. Styro cups and plates: cold cereal, donuts, danish, fruit, juice, instant oatmeal, boiled eggs.

The rooms weren't very large. The beds weren't great, but hey, we all slept. The micro and fridge are tiny, we never used them.

Not a great place, but a wonderful location! The pool was nice but too cold when we were there.

Next time we're going to stay at the DLH and the PPH.

Any other questions?

:thumbsup2 Was it a far walk? Were the rooms clean?? Updated?? How do you think the crowds will be? Thanks again. Anybody else stayed there?

We've stayed there for 4 years in a row, just one night each visit. It's a nice place, clean, and a 10 minute walk to the main gate. Yes, the pool is always very cold. Yes, the breakfast is what was mentioned, but it's also one less meal to pay for at DL. The one major problem I have found with it - which could also be a problem at the other hotels - is that when your upstairs "neighbors" come in at night after DL closes, they are usually very loud. Loud enough to wake me up every time, and that's with using earplugs, too.

The one great thing about the hotel is the staff. They go out of your way to make it a comfortable visit for you. You get a courtesy call about 10 minutes after you enter your room to make sure everything is fine. Phone calls are answered fast and requests are made in a timely fashion.

We may try another hotel this year, just to try something else. But we haven't had any major complaints at all.

Hope this helps!

I did find the room quite noisy in the morning. Nice and close to the park, inexpensive, and a free brekky to boot.

It depends on what you are looking for, and what your expectations are.

Its a place to stay thats cheap, convenient and not a dive. If you have money to burn, stay somewhere else, if you don't, this is a fine place and you won't be disappointed.
