April 15, 2006 - Spring Break -

We'll be on the Wonder first week in April....we're first timers....We're paid up and just looking for advice.

Can Uncle Remus be far behind. The count in down to 86   Hey Mary, met with the financial guys today, after 30 years of bouncing around I've really very pleased with these two. Made over 30% last year and I now feel for the first time I can forget about the Market and relax, as long as I take the agreed on money every year we'll never touch the principle and have alot more then we started with. Never say a large number to dazzle me. Just great down to earth guys and they now have decided to just handle retirees.

Well....what we are looking for? Family stuff to do in Nassau without taking excursions through the boat. I've been to Nassau, but not since 1984. I have a 10 year old and a 15 year old and of course the wife and was looking for advice really on Nassau as to what to do.

What is advisable on Castaway Cay while we're at it. Just any tips for 1st time cruisers basically. Food on the ship, entertainment, what's good, what's not good that kind of stuff. thanks for getting back with me.

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a great holiday!

We made our finally cruise payment over the weekend. :cheer2: :cheer2: I am so excited. :cloud9: I can't wait. Although my DD, Katie 6, doesn't want to go. She is sure that the Easter Bunny will not be able to get out to the ship!!

I saw some people talk about having "baskets" delivered to their rooms. I was wondering if anyone has already checked into this? Would you be will to share any info you recieved. Does anyone know if Disney is offering a special "easter" items for stateroom delivery? I haven't found anything in there info for "easter", just there usual items.

Do you know if anyone is keeping track of how many "dis" member are going? I was looking but I didn't see one...did I miss it?

Have a great day...
Cindy

Vicki-

I am so sorry to hear the news. I hope everything is ok. We will miss you and your DD. Hopefully you can cruise with us some other time.

Hello fellow cruisers...glad to find this thread. We will be joining this cruise with friends: Here;s the info for the list:
Joy - DW
Renne - DH
Rachel - DD-8
Robert DS 13

2 families will be joining as well, one with twin daughters (6 yrs old) and one with a DS-12 and DS-5.

I haven't booked any excursions yet but so I would appreciate your advice. We are planning a cruise planning get together so we can all sit down and plan together. Is it worth it to go out of Disney to book excursions? What companies have you tired before? This is our first Eastern cruise, and have never been to any of these islands before. Appreciate the insight.

Trading the warmth of the caribbean sun for Shoping in Chicago. I know it's crazy, but making a mother daughter trip with several friends. (and that way DD doesn't miss quite as much of her college classes. She is duel enrolled at the local community college. I wish I had that opportunity as a high school senior. I hope you all have a great cruise - -- if any of you are on the 11 day wonder Sept 17 I'll see you then.

Daivd, sorry I missed the chat - had to go to a dinner party. Thanks for your quick reply...glad to have a fellow New Yorker help out. Here's my dilemma - my kids want to go to Dolphin encounter, so Im trying to see if the Disney package is the best option, and also trying to get some trip reports to know what to expect - it's a pretty long excursion (Disney says 7-7.5 hrs) and I was hoping to have a chance to tour the island as well. Also, what if only my DH will go with the kids to the dolphin thing and I only want to watch? Do I have to pay the full fee as well as it is quite steep...

Thanks!

Hello all!!! I am glad to see that there will be many of us on this cruise.

I also have been going round and round about the easter basket situation. My son turns 7 on 04/13 so it will be bday and easter to celebrate!! This is his version about the bunny- the bunny will land on the ship via a helicopter to deliver the baskets... sounds good to me!!

Looking forward to chatting with you since this is our 1st cruise!!

Daivd, thanks! just for the list, the twins names are Nicole and Michelle of Tatt and Rose and the other family is Martin 12, Matthew 5 of Gerard and Betsy

I'm getting too excited and can't wait to plan for the excursions! The other families are first time cruisers, so they're all depending on me to help plan. I couldn't find any detailed feedback on the dolphin encounters using other threads.

Talk to you soon.
