April 14,2013 Dream 4 Day...

For anyone that's been on the Disney Cruise before, do you know when we will be off the ship/through customs on Thursday? (NOT that I want to think about leaving!! I just have to figure out what time to get transportation for). Thank you!

Had so much fun just watching the Dream leave port yesterday:

Here are the remaining dates until our embarkation. The Dream usually passes Fishlips between 4:45-5pm Eastern Standard Time. Yesterday it was there around 4:57 EST.

March 24, 2013 (Sunday)

March 31, 2013 (Easter Sunday)
April 4, 2013 (Thursday)
April 7, 2013 (Sunday)

As to the disembarkation question above. All guests are usually off by 9-10am (From what I've read on other threads) as they begin embarkation around 11am with boarding starting between 11:30-12.

When we cruised the Wonder in 2009 we were off by 7...breakfast with inlaws in Daytons & Hollywood Studios by 10:30. We had stayed @ the Radisson but the shuttel was not there so we grabbed a cab back to our car.

Hi Everyone!

Just spent the last hour reading through the 19 pages of threads here. We are excited to be on this cruise. It will be myself, my wife and our 18 month old daughter. It will be our first Disney cruise and 7th overall cruise, first for our 18 month old.

I have also requested to join the Facebook group.

We can't believe how quickly it is approaching.

Can you believe 3 weeks from now we will all have boarding or will be in the process of boarding Disney Dream? I know our family is getting excited.

Our little 18 month old, who will be joining us, when asked, "do you want to go on the big cruise ship?" Responds by saying "Minnie Mouse!"

I can't believe how much I still need to get ready, with only 3 weeks left. :rotfl:

So cute about DD ::MinnieMo

angel's momma--just wondering if you are getting snow today. Not exactly sure where you live but I know that much of central Illinois has a winter storm warning.

Just a little snow here tonight--December 24th I would have called it a pretty Christmas Eve snow but on March 24th I call it annoying and unwelcome!!!

Anyone know what attire to bring? Formal nights, etc?

http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/faqs/onboard-dining/dining-attire/
Here's a link to Disney's official suggestions. On "formal" night you'll see a wide range of clothes--from tuxes to polos for guys. My son and husband will wear a shirt and tie--no jacket. Just too much to drag along. My daughter and I will wear dresses/skirts--nothing too fancy but there will be a few with long more formal dresses on. Any specific questions?

Yes, it's been snowing all day, and is supposed to continue through tomorrow night, but the heavier accumulations are south of us. We're about half way between the Quad Cities & Peoria, if you know where they are. You're right that it would be pretty for Christams, and annoying now.

Thank you for sharing the link! Do you know if the "no shorts" applies to children too? We were going to let ours be part of the dinner club(?) where the kids eat with us but then the club counselors come and bring them back to the Oceaneers Club.

Hey guys!!! It's almost here!!!! pirate:
I was just going to remind everyone that tomorrow will be the last day to sign up for the fish extender so there is enough time for everyone to get their stuff together. As of today, we have 12 cabins signed up :cheer2: with 37 people. If anyone else wants to join, feel free! Here is the link

So EXCITED!! Are there going to be any "Rules" or "Themes"? We've never done the Fish Extenders (but I've read tons) and some of the websites say different things. Just want to be prepared to have FUN!!!! :woohoo:

The only rule is to just have fun. It would be nice to have a name tag attached so we can all know who it's from.
I'm super excited!!!
