Thank you for sharing the link! Do you know if the "no shorts" applies to children too? We were going to let ours be part of the dinner club(?) where the kids eat with us but then the club counselors come and bring them back to the Oceaneers Club.
Yes, the "no shorts" rule applies to kids too. Jeans, kahkis or crop pants are all fine. If you Google this topic--you will find lots of people with strong opinions about it. The pants don't have to be "dressy" on cruise casual nights--just not shorts. All that being said, you will see people of all ages wearing shorts in the dining rooms and DCL won't kick you out for wearing them.
We've never found it that hard to follow the "no shorts" rule.
