Thank you for sharing the link! Do you know if the "no shorts" applies to children too? We were going to let ours be part of the dinner club(?) where the kids eat with us but then the club counselors come and bring them back to the Oceaneers Club.

Yes, the "no shorts" rule applies to kids too. Jeans, kahkis or crop pants are all fine. If you Google this topic--you will find lots of people with strong opinions about it. The pants don't have to be "dressy" on cruise casual nights--just not shorts. All that being said, you will see people of all ages wearing shorts in the dining rooms and DCL won't kick you out for wearing them. We've never found it that hard to follow the "no shorts" rule.

Me....crab claws, crab legs, lobster. It's hard to get good sea food in land-locked Utah.

Breakfast!!!!! Usually it's always cold cereal and fruit at home. Can't wait for eggs and bacon every morning.

Hi Everyone -

I am not traveling on your cruise but wanted to throw out a pixie dust request to you all. My friend has been so excited to take her family on their first Disney Cruise on April 14 and we have been talking about it for over a year since I am a Disney Cruise planning crazy person! Though, unfortunately, the unimaginable happened on Saturday when her husbnd passed away suddenly, leaving her and their three wonderful children DD 13, DS 10, DS 10.

You never know quite what to do for a friend during such a tragic time like this and they agonized over the decision of whether or not to go on the cruise. I did learn today that they will still be going because they know that is what he would want.

So, if anyone is interested in throwing some pixie dust their way, i.e. extra fun magnet, etc... I think it would really help bring a smile to their faces since they have never experienced the MAGIC of a Disney Cruise and all of us who love the special experience...espeically those of us faithful on Disboards.

They had not signed up for the FE since it was their first cruise. Their cabin #6614.

I hope you all have a wonderful cruise and I will have to wait until Thanksgiving to board the Disney Dream!

Saying a prayer for them and I will be sure to make some extra magnets for them. I will be making more this weekend. Do you know if the kids have favorite characters?

I knew you guys would be supportive! Their favorite characters are Pooh, Pluto, Mickey and Goofy. I am going to send them with some magnets as well, but thought they would get a kick out of a surprise or two.

Two fellow co-workers are in Florida this week and next-not on a Disney Cruise, but still there enjoying the weather and relaxation. Less than 20 days and we'll be there soaking up the sun, too!!!

I love the MahiMahi- it's SO much better than at Red Lobster! Fresh and about the size of a thick-cut pork chop. Mmmmmm...

I did have someone drop out so it has been updated. I'm working on getting a layout of the decks with the participating cabins highlighted, but I'm having trouble finding one big enough. I will get it figured out and post it on here for everyone.
As far as when to deliver the gifts, that is completely up to you. You can do it all in one night or spread it out a couple of nights. Just whenever you want to. I hope this helps.
