april 12 Western Magic

We are booked on the April 12, 7 day western magic!!!! We've done the 4 day twice, and can't wait for 7 sunny days!!!! There are 9 of us, 5 girls ages 6, 9, 9, 11, and 12, me and my husband, his brother and wife... Can't wait to be sailing again!!!!

mrossi -- I was excited to hear someone else will be on the Magic April 12, and with kids! But my boys, ages 5 and 7 (and 1), think girls have cooties, unfortunately. It's their loss -- I am outnumbered 4 to 1 in my family (and even the cat is a male...).

We have also done a 4-day and can't wait for a whole week. Happy sailing to us all!

We are also on the Magic 4/12. It will be me, DH, DS(9), DD(7&4), and DS(18 months). This will be our 4th cruise. We have done 1 other 7-night cruise (Eastern). We are very excited and eagerly awaiting our Spring Break!!

We were beginning to think we were the only Dis's on the 4/12 Magic. It will be me and my DS (12). This will be our 4th Disney Cruise!

I also have a 12 yr. old daughter.... This is our 3rd disney cruise. She loves the freedom she has on the ship, able to come and go as she wants. Her cousin who is 11 is also going with her family. we are a group of 9 total. 4 adults, 5 girls ages 6, 9, 9, 11, and 12. You'll see us at the family pool usually. see you in a few weeks

Hi ... we're scheduled on the 12th also. We did this just a few days ago. There are 6 of us, me, DH, DSs (9 and 13) and DDs (5 and 10). I'm a little nervous as we are in GTY rooms at the moment, and not even sure we'll be on the same deck since we needed two rooms. But, we're taking our chances. I'm a little concerned after reading a few posts about sickness. I'm not one of those who usually worrys about things like this, but 7 nights on a boat with sick kids is not where I want to be. We did the 4 night last year, but traveled with two other families and the kids had a ball. I'm hoping they have just as much fun this time with just the four of them.

Has anyone scheduled any excursions with children? Since this is a last minute trip, I've done no research on this one. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi DisneyPoly, I'll bet everyone will be fine, the children always do better than the adults do. I've never seen a young child get sick, and besides that, we are in port alot of the time. We didn't book any excursions through Disney. In Key West, we're going to wander for a while and then enjoy the ship. In Cozumel, I believe we're going to go to Mr. Sanchos's Beach. I've heard it is alot of fun there. And in Grand Cayman we're also going to beach it. We get bored on the organized tours. I tried to book one excursion and it was sold out already. Because of my 6 year old, it really limits the excursions. We tried to book the jeep excursion, but the youngest you can be is 10. So, we'll just enjoy the sand and beach....

We'll be on the Magic 4/12 too !! DH(25) and I(24) just booked last minute. We're looking forward to it as the first 7 day Western we took (9/28/02) ended up being a mystery cruise because of hurricanes. I can't wait to go to KeyWest, Grand Cayman and Cozumel !!

We are also in a GTY room, but no room is a bad room to use!!

We are a group of 21 - Seniors to 6yr olds - Several of the guys in the group want to Parasail.
Castaway Cay is already sold out for that week.
Any other ideas where they could parasail?

I found a place in Key West, but not sure of where we dock -does anyone know?

Also the girls want to get their hair braided - any suggestions?

**This is our 2nd cruise as a group- did the Wonder in April 2000.

You should still be able to book parasailing at the excursion desk when you board. We couldn't book in advance as they had sold out but once on board we were able to book the time of our choice. Have fun!
