Me too!

Hey, Beginsters -- I'm so glad you're bringing along another 15-year-old boy. Does he do sports?

I liked the idea that Megan had of buying some of her baby supplies when she gets to Florida. Does anybody know if there is a 24-hour WalMart anywhere near the airport?

Bev

Yes he does sports!

I want to pack and leave now!!! There is too much snow here, we have had around 10 feet of snow so far this year....Yuck!!!!

We are getting very excited now:cool1: :dance3: :rotfl:

Yea! More sports competition! My boys (15, 16) will love it. They really love playing sports -- especially soccer -- and were excited to find that the Magic has soccer balls on board. When we took them on Carnival there was no soccer -- for a whole week! Horrible! Plus, my niece who is turning 14 the day we board is also a sports fan and hopes to compete against the boys!

And thanks for the tip on finding a WalMart. Duh! Here I am ON the net and I don't think of USING the net! :confused3

Today I got one of those over-the-door shoe organizers to keep things tidy in the bathroom, and also some cheap wire hangers to augment what they give you in the closets.

I forgot to look for new suitcases for the boys. They have small roll-aboards, but they've grown and all their clothes are bigger now -- funny thing!

Off to watch their school soccer game. (I really prefer baseball!!)

Bev

I just bought DD10 a new suitcase. Mainly because the small one doesn't have a section to fold out for suits and last cruise I cramed her formal dresses in with mine and DS stuff. And we are staying in FL for 3 days after, so I thought I needed more things.

I ordered it online and sure enough it was missing the fold out suit piece, the toilerty bag and shoe bag. When I called the company they acted like they didn't know if those pieces should be included. When I mentioned that I already owned the same exact piece already I was told they would mail my "bonus" things. I searched and searched until I found that suitcase online, but I wanted it to match the rest. So I ordered it from someone I don't normally order from.

You should see how many times the UPS guy has come. Most of it is shopping I have done for the cruise. With the price of gas and the mall half an hour away it is just easier. And I can be on the DIS boards at the same time!

Well I have bought a new dress for my birthday - but as it's not until the last night seems a bit of a shame to save it...... but apart from that nothing new for me. My son however has had a massive growth spurt and not a single pair of shorts or trunks fits him. We are flying to Miami on th Monday before and plannning to hit Sawgrass Mills on the way up to Orlando (where we are going to Aquatica, Universal, Iof A and Wet an Wild). Any Sawgrass Mills shopping tips gratefully received!

Anybody doing the Kayak, hike and snorkel of Cas Cay?

We did some bathing suit shopping ... will be trying on summer clothes this weekend to see what might need to be replaced. $177 at target for two kids for new bathing suits, cover ups and some new socks ... :headache:

Yes thanks for posting.

In the kids' picture, mine are Christine on the right end with the "why do you have to take my picture" look, Jenn is in the pink shirt and glasses and Ryan is in Jenn's arms.

In the adult picture, Bruce and I are on the left.

Better than the less than 30 days out----you know what comes first!!!

Start looking in the mail next week for our documents!!! Now--that makes it just seem real. This is our big clothes trying on/shopping weekend. Yeah!!!

Tom and I are on the right side of the parents picture.

Tommy is the second from the left for the kids picture with the green Jets sweatshirt and Kayla is the fourth from the left with the pink shirt and sweatshirt.

Sorry, I didn't have a ton of time this morning to do all of the labeling but Phil and I are dead center in the adults picture and in the kids picture, Shawn is on the end on the left with the camo pants on and Gabi is in the front on the left with the gold sweater and appliques on her jeans.

She is also the jellyfish in the other photo. lol

Wow, can't wait to get the docs!! We are trying on clothes this weekend too ... always such a hassle getting the bins down from the attic but hey, I won't complain. It's a means to an end this time!!

Wow! I haven't read all 53 pages of posts (yet) but wanted to check in. We are cruising on 12th April too - coming from the UK with my husband, daughter aged 10 1/2 and son aged 13 1/2. Also my mum is coming with a friend of her who lives in Cincinnati, and my friend her husband and her kids (twins aged 9 and 12 year old boy). We have been planning it for YEARS as Friday 18th April is my 40th birthday!:yay:

Just stopping by to say Hi!
Liked those pictures from the aquarium. Wish I could have gone but it was quite a drive for us.

I just found out that I have to go clothes shopping! Darn, if I can find those shorts I bought in August for my September trip:lmao: :lmao:! Of course, if I looked real hard, like in my closet, I could find them!
I am almost through packing just need a few additions and I am done! If I keep adding clothes though, I'll need a cabin just for my things.
Hope you guys are getting as excited as I am!

Wow, almost done? How are you ever going to stand looking at your packed suitcase for a month? That would make me go crazy, lol.

I made a deal with the kids that we would start packing on April 2nd. :woohoo:

I would go nuts if I waited that close to the trip. I guess I am a bit neurotic when it comes to packing. I am always afraid I am going to forget something. I am always packing and re-packing and debating about what I should or shouldn't bring.
I am a chronic overpacker. For our 4 day cruise for 4 people we had 9 pieces of luggage!

I am packing for 19 days. I think I could actually pack everything I am taking into one large suitcase with the exception of my formal items which are going into DH's wardrobe case. With the airlines weight regulations they force me into taking two bags and I will have a carry on. Maybe the airlines should allow 100 lbs per person they might find less baggage or is that just me? Last time we went to WDW with 4 of us we had 12 pieces, Lucklily I had rented a large car I had not even factored in the luggage into the plan. As it was pieces seperated my kids in the back seat Hum... maybe not such a bad idea after all tee hee.

We have a car service taking us, but last time the town car was too small for all the luggage. Now we asked for a van that should hold 12, and we only have 4 people, so we should have plenty of space for luggage.

That makes me feel better about my $130 at Kmart :)

We got our pirate outfits today and some UV sunshirts - we are all fair and I wanted them for snorkling at least.
Still need to get DH a suit coat - but it is on the schedule for March 28th - how bad is that - I have to schedule the shopping trip! LOL

We are out of control busy between now and the trip.

Welcome!
My kids are around the same age as yours as well! They are getting interested in all of the folks I am meeting on the board, but are curious about how it is going to work making friends on the boat. I can not wait to meet you all!

This makes me nervous - we ordered a town car for our trip to the port... how much luggage can we fit?
