Hi ALL,
Well I feel like it is getting nearer. DH and I are school teachers so we have a few weeks to rest-up. When school starts back Spring Break well seem like a long way off. I am picking up little things on each trip to Walmart that I think we can use. I thought about the gift baskets for the room but having 4 DDs from 6 - 14yrs I decided to put together my own. I plan to pack Disney themed gift bags (flat) and different items. I'm still working on it. I may let some of the items be gift coupons for things during the cruise that they'd hit us up for anyway.

goofydadeo - we live in Fayetteville (GA). We will have to leave after DH gets home from school around 4:30 - 5:00. Thinking of stopping north of Orlando for sleep. What do you all usually do. This past Friday of Spring Break the airport was a nightmare I heard. I used to think that if I found a little extra $$ we'd fly. BUT between the crowd and the weather I think I'd be more fearful.

I hope we get more families on this date. Several of you will have dd 7 BUT mine youngerones will be 8 1/2 and 6 ON MARCH 31. (We are telling her the cruise is for her Bd!!)

Hello I guess my family will be joining you guys. We are a family of 4; me, DH, DD (8) and DD (5)(cruise ages). This will be our first cruise and we are sooooo excited! This is our spring break also. I'm suprised there are not more posters giving it is probably spring break for a lot of others. Oh, well, maybe the ship will be empty and I'll get an upgrade, LOL!

We are going down a few days early to add 2 or 3 nights to the front of the cruise. We will drive the 12 hrs. from KY. We usually break it up and drive past Atlanta the first night and the rest the next morning so it doesn't seem so bad. Nice to meet you all!

Since we'll be next door and all . . . I assume that you are a nurse? What kind? I can tutor your DKs in math if we can have a standing deal for a little first aide! Almost just kidding!!

I have seen several of you mention DDs that will be the same age as one of mine. I hope they love their clubs BUT we do like to have family dinners and doing things together. I hope they don't love is so much we never see them!
PACERCOLT you'll have a DD 14. How did she like the past cruise, teen things? Our 14 joins right in usually . Maybe my DD14 could "talk" with your DD14.

I'm most worried about the DD 12 that will be 13 two months later. I think that the DD6 & DD8 will do very well based on the descriptions of activities.

I am thinking about doing Palos on night 5 or 6. They'll have Brunch on 2,3,& 6. I guess I sould try for it on 3. I don't care about the "tea".

I'm thinking about doing simple beach days in St. M and St. T. Might do one of the boat/snorkels trips in St.M.

I am looking for things we'll need as they start to mark down summer stuff in July.

It doesn't look like to many DISers are on this cruise. I am really looking forward to it. DD had the DCL DVD out playing it for her sisters a while ago!

Mom24 - my DD14 had a blast on the cruise. She only went to the teen club a couple times. She enjoyed it. However, we too are a family that likes to do everything together. My DD went to the club just a couple times too. My DD 14 would surely talk to her if she has any questions. I think she would enjoy knowing someone her age going. My DD6 met a friend on the boat and they had a good time.

I know! If this upcoming school year goes as fast as last year seemed too...Spring Break will be here before we know it! I love imagining all the fun DD and I will have. I can't wait!!

Have any of you stayed at the Radisson the night before??

Yes we stayed at the Radisson last year when we cruised. very nice and clean. there was some construction but that was 2/04. I am sure it is completed by now. we had a rented car so we did not use the transport.
Not sure where we will stay this year , i want to do wdw but don't know if we will do it before or after the cruise????? Thank goodness i have 9 mos to think about these issues!!

hooray!! less then 8 months! anyone thinking about the 10 and 11 day cruises just announced on the Wonder?? I would but kids are just back to school,it is too early to pull out for almost 2 weeks.

We just booked a family vacation on this cruise. Looking forward to it. We are a party of 14 in 4 staterooms (8 adults and 6 kids James 2, Cheryl 3, Katherine 6, Delaney 6, Grant and Gary (twins) 8. Should be fun?

This will be a first cruise for many of the group, and the rest have only been on Alaskan Cruises.

We are concerned about the late dinner seating we received...and wanted to know about alternatives to the main dinning rooms? I see alternatives for breakfast and lunch, but not much for dinner?

Hope to hear more about the Disney MAGIC.

We (me, my DH and DH - 7 years old) will also be on this cruise. This will be our 5th cruise (DD's 3rd cruise), but 1st one on Disney. We're also from the Atlanta area (Newnan, Georgia).

My family (me, DH, DD-8 and DS-almost 5) will be joining the fun! This is a reschedule from spring break of this year (2004), so I've been anticipating this cruise for a very, very long time (fortunately, didn't tell my kids about it, so they didn't experience the disappointment). It's our first cruise and we're booked in one of the SPH rooms. I'm just now starting to think about the cruise again. Had some trouble finding decent airfare last spring, so I'm starting to look at that now. We'll probably come in a day or two early and sneak over to Typhoon Lagoon for the day.

Hey goofydadeo! It is nice to see a fellow Georgian going with us. We live in Powder Springs. My DD is really anxious to find some fellow kid-cruisers that she can e-mail. Maybe your DD or DS would be interested. Our DS is 12 also.
