Debbie, I ditto Erin on you getting yourself better before working on the FE lists! You're doing a GREAT job on the FE Exchange! I completely understand and greatly appreciate all the work that goes into organizing this and am very thankful that you decided to take it on!

I have updated the Roll Call and the FE List to reflect the latest changes. I have also worked on the detailed FE list. I will PM the detailed list to everyone that is signed up. To date I have not received a PM from four people who originally wanted in, plus the two new additions. I will not send the detailed list to those I have not received a PM from just in case they have changed their minds. I also have the information in a spreadsheet (Excel) and if you sent me your email address I will send you the file. We currently have twenty one staterooms signed up. I forgot to add to my parents stateroom. We have connecting rooms and they are not on the Disboards so therefore would not have been able to send me the info.
I know you all told me to get better first, but honestly I couldn't get my work done for school without getting this done. Yeah not good priorities!!
Oh well...here are the updates!

I like your ideas concerning the FE group (splitting if the group gets too big, etc.).... Even though I'm not a teacher - I do like to plan ahead and I agree with the concerns about the 3/1 date). I know that whatever you decide will be fine and I so appreciate you taking the time to organize this fun event!

I am going to go out on limb and guess that we are all about the same age or within a decade of each other. Very popular name when I was growing up and not as popular today! ddeal1957 (year born?)...I was born in '68
Now everyone wants to name their child something unique, something that won't be duplicated. I remember when we picked Connor for our son and it wasn't that popular 11 years ago, now it is... Of course we could have always gone with what my husband wanted - Killian (yes, after the beer) or Hampton (no, not after the hotel! )

This is only our 2nd cruise and the first was only a year ago at Spring Break with Disney. We had a travel agent book both of these cruises because I didn't know anything about cruising, etc...
We want to book a cruise the Summer of 2014 for an Eastern Mediterranean - R/T most likely from Venice, traveling through the Greek Islands. I know the cruises can't be booked yet but we wanted to start doing the research. Is there a travel agent that anyone can recommend who would be able to help us or a particular cruise line...I don't think DH would be receptive to Disney Cruise in the Med. even if it happened to have an itinerary there in 2014.

I can highly recommend Kelsie Johnson with Dreams Unlimited! She has gone above and beyond for us! Plus, DU offers a very nice OBC for booking with them. You can earn the full OBC by using DU to begin with or by naming DU as your travel agent when booking onboard the ship. Since DCL just (finally!) released the 2013 itineraries today and booking starts tomorrow, I'd probably wait until next week to contact anyone about 2014 bookings.

I agree! It's always fun to put faces with the names of people we've been "chatting" with for so long.

Historically, the Lifeboat Drill has been at 3:45pm, with all shipboard activities suspended from 3:30-4pm. The Sailaway Party usually starts at 4pm.

Last year, we set up our Meet & Greet on Embarkation Day at 2-2:30pm on Deck 13 Forward in the "Family Zone". It is a completely outdoor area, so we would have been in trouble if the weather had been bad. But, it was a very convenient place for everyone to find.

Traveling with me on this cruise will be Chris, myself, and our 10 year old daughter, Izabella {Izzi}. We are on deck 10. Cabin number 10100. We are over the moon excited.

Hey Amy - it's the other Debbie...I am organizing the FE. I have your info and will add to the detailed list. I wonder if you can receive PM's...I will try to send you the detailed FE list tomorrow, I have the document saved on my work computer.

We also chose the 1:00pm arrival time. We are coming from a hotel at the Orlando airport - I hired a car service to take and pick us up. Nice to know someone else will be arriving in the 2nd wave of people!

Erin- I saw the itinerary listed on the DIS for 2013 and it showed everything sailing out of Barcelona. In 2010 DF and I went on a Med. cruise with Holland America and ended up emailing them to tell them how bad our experience was. We actually saw the Magic in port in Rome and DF said "that's the cruise line we'll be sailing on next. they know how to give great customer service." That said, our next cruise will be on the Dream in April! Anyway, if you end up near Barcelona on your trip, PM me, I'll be living there for the next few years and by 2014 I should know all the good places to go!

Just keep in mind that the cut-off date for joining the FE is March 1st.
