We are staying at Portofino for a week in September. I saw the thread about ordering Voodoo donuts on their app. So now I am curious as to what apps people love while on vacation. I will definitely download the Voodoo app so we can save time.

To clarify, mobile ordering for Voodoo is done through the Universal app.

You'll want the Universal app, bookmark the Hagrid's virtual queue site (https://vltest.universalorlando.com/#), and a weather app with radar is always helpful. I like MyRadar to keep an eye on any approaching storms.

Should each person in our group get the app/set up separate accounts for trying for the VQ? Not been since VQ was a thing, and we are used to Disney's MdE, and only have 1 acct/login for MDE.

There are a few threads on the VQ that you might want to look for.

Essentially, the current VQ process is run through the website I linked above. You need to create an account on that site. That account is completely unrelated from your Universal app account, your ticket, everything. It's a stand-alone site.

When you book the VQ, it just asks you how many people are in your party - no names, no accounts, no tickets, etc. Just pick the number and go.

If you want to try for multiple VQs, you can have multiple members of your party create their own accounts and each of you can choose the appropriate number of people in the party.

All of this could change at any point.
