Apps and Dessert Only at Hollywood Brown Derby

Has anyone ever eaten at Hollywood Brown Derby, but only ordered Apps, Drinks, and Dessert?

Thinking about doing this on our next trip in January, but wondering if it's frowned upon by the staff.

Also noticed that there's a Cobb salad offered as an app as well as an entree. Is the app version just smaller than the entree version?

We haven't done this at Brown Derby, but have at California Grill and its not an issue. The table is yours for the reservation so you can order what suits you. I do tend to tip a bit more on such a bill, just because the server did "lose out" on a more expensive order, but that of course is not necessary.

And on the app vs. entree cobb salad, yes portion size is the only difference.

App, drinks dessert can be equivalent to entree only, cost wise

Doesn’t matter. You can order whatever you want. Enjoy!

We do this from time to time, the 2 of us will get 2-3 appetizers and a couple of drinks and dessert!

In June We have ADR’s for dinner, but still need a bit of lunch but not a huge meal and I would rather have carpaccio than a hot dog or hamburger.

No problem at all. My DH and I often share a few appetizers instead of ordering individual entrees at many of the TS restaurants at WDW. No one has ever acted surprised or disappointed when we do this. We also often split an entree and, again, have never had an issue.
