(edited to change the direction of my question): Have any of you ever seen little girls dress up as Tink at CRT? I know Tink does not appear in person, but dd (9) feels she is "too old" for regular princesses these days and would prefer to dress up as Tink. Will she feel out of place since Tink is not a real princess and won't even be at CRT?

We leave in 2 weeks. Just trying to finalize getting everything together and discovered that my dd's princess costumes no longer fit her. She really wants to wear a costume for our breakfast at CRT. Went to the Disney store in our area and they have only tink and want $50 for it. No other princesses to choose from. I could order online from the disney store or try ebay, but not sure if I want to take the chance that it will get here in time?

If we go to the World of Disney in DTD (I think that's the one?), how much will we expect to pay there?

Thanks!

Last year, if I recall correctly, they were $100 for any girls costume (princess, tinkerbell, minnie) If not $100, then $90. It was sticker shock for me!

Granted they were better quality than the cheapie Halloween costumes going for $25 at Target, but not as good as my DD's 8 y/o Cinderalla costume that we had for the trip. I guess the quality has diminished in the past few years. I would've been willing to pay $100 for a high quality costume like the older one we had. The one they were selling - I would've only been willing to pay $50 for.

We got Alice in WOnderland for $45..the princesses were mostly $64 but then you have to add in accessories, shoes etc. It will end up at around $100 if you do all of that.

I thought they were around $75 for the princesses. We don't mess with accessories at all. The shoes look uncomfortable, and the other stuff would just get lost. With a bunch of little ones, I can't keep track of long white gloves, purses, shoes, tiarras, wands, etc. while at WDW. Our dd has never asked for them, I seriously think she thinks they are decorations for the store!!

As a sidenote, if you have a Disney Visa card, you can get 10% off at World of Disney in Downtown Disney. That'll save you a few bucks.

Sidenote #2....if you can't find dd's size on the shelf, ask if its available. They have an upstairs storage room. If the CM says its not, go to the information desk in the store, those are the CMs who really want to help. That happened to us. CM #1 said "no" very rudely, like I shouldn't have dared to ask. We went to info desk, explained what happened and what size we needed, the CM there said, "Hold on a minute. I'll go look. The floor CMs don't have time to look for them so they always say no". Of course, that might have been an isolated case. I'm sure not EVERY floor CM is unhelpful.
