Approached in park to do survey

I did the one from AK & DTD from our trip in August. They really asked for a lot of detail! :thumbsup2

DH and I were asked to do a survey when we were in EPCOT on our last trip...we happliy agreed, but didn't get anything in the mail....

OP here. Today I got a post card with a URL and password to yet another survey, this time concerning our experience staying at the Wilderness Lodge.

Last Dec on the way out of MK I was stopped by a CM taking a survey - basically asking city, state, how many visits, where we were staying etc. I stopped and gave her my info hoping I would get some pixie dust (in the form of a pin code in my email for my next trip or something) but I never saw anything. My DH didn't want me to stop because he wanted popcorn - by the time I was done there was no more popcorn left and he didn't want to wait for a fresh batch!!

We were approached with questions at MK, Epcot, and AK all on our last trip. :) We don't mind answering questions. We were definitely stopped more often than previous trips.

DW has been approached twice at Epcot. I never have been :confused3

My husband is in the marketing field (not surveys, but he knows a lot about them, lol) and often the surveyors have certain criteria they look for. For example, some surveys might be only for "Women of Color over 40"...or families with children...people who have just eaten at a specific establishment...or there may be equal "slots" for different demographics. They might need to interview 20 men and 20 women, for instance. This may be one of the reasons you were not selected on those particular days, but your DW was! :)

When we were in AK on 8/31, DH was approached by a Disney management type and asked if he would be willing to fill out an e-mail survey about his experience. DH agreed, and we received it a few days after returning home. Wondering how many other people have been asked. The survey was mostly about our experience at AK.

I also got an e-mail survey (this was totally unrelated to the above) at home a few days before we left on our trip. Sounds like Disney is collecting a lot of data!

We have been asked to do many surveys over the years. Some just as you enter the parks going through the turnstyles and then as you described above asking for an email address to do at a later time.

We've been asked in Epcot to sit down and fill out a survey on the computer and then at MK a young lady approached us and talked to us as we ate Dole whips.

Yes, we were standing around at Epcot somewhat near Figment & Soarin' in late Aug & were approached by someone who wanted to do a brief questionnaire right then. He also asked if we'd be willing to do a survey online once we were home. We've received 2 surveys by email & one was mailed to us from our resort asking to go online & fill theirs out.

I guess I am friendly looking as I am often stopped at DW and elsewhere to answer surveys. I always oblige if I have the time.

At my local mall I get paid a tiny bit of money ($5-10) for my answers. Seems that Disney could at least offer a FP or two. JMO.

No days left!!! Leaving tomorrow morning!!!

We get stopped for surveys every trip. Last June it was in front of Epcot, inside of MK twice, and once in MGM. We got 2 mailed to us and 2 emailed!~

I have never gotten approached in DsneyWorld but I have twice in Disneyland. In 2005, I was approached at the entrance of California Adventures and I was asked to come to a little booth and they asked me questions about my stay. At the end of the survey they gave me 10 disney dollars.
