Applying for the Disney Store

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'll give it a try.

Recently, I applied at my local Disney Store online. It's been several days and my application says "In Progress." Has anyone ever applied online before? What does "In progress" mean exactly?
Has anyone ever gotten hired?
