Happy Birthday WDW guests.

Yesterday WDW announced their next promotion that will follow The Year of a Million Dreams. It was announced in NYC and 4 of the moms from the Moms Panel attended the media event. After the announcement, Mickey went outside in to the street to pass out balloons to children!!!

Part of the promotion is a gift to WDW guests allowing them in to the theme park for FREE on the day of their birthday.

WDW sent the Moms Panelists adorable note cards to promote and announce officially the new promotion.

If you are talking about in WDW, then you have to purchase the balloons via one of the Cast Members selling them on Main Street.

As far as the media event in NYC that I was discussing, Mickey was TRULY handing out the balloons to children. Amazing.

I applied to be a Disney mom again this year. I'm afraid I don't really have any unique answers or anything that sperates my anwsers from anyone else. But I know I have lots of Disney planning knowledge like alot of us on this board. We go at least once a year and went to Disney twice last year. Bret and kim I really enjoyed your articles . Good luck everyone! Now, the dreaded waiting begins. Every day I check my email just in case! I even made my DH apply. Luckily he loves Disney as much as me!

I feel that way too, I couldn't come up with anything spectacular to say in only 100 words....I tend to go on and on, lol. I think my "theme" was mostly about telling people about all the little secrets and things that aren't as well known...the special things they don't tell you about in the guidebooks. I thought at least that's probably unique even if it's not spectactular....then I just now went and read Bret's article with his responses....and I'm think, oh heavens, they're going to think that I plagerized Bret's winning idea! But honest, I didn't!

We'll be there for December 5-9, so thankfully I won't have to worry about leaving my kids (which would never have happened...not if I want back in the house, lol)....but if I do win I'm gonna have to either get Dad to fly out to be with them those days, or maybe I can drag Grandma from Tampa. They're 12 but I don't think that's old enough yet to be in the parks on their own for 4 days! They do, but I don't. They're totally pysched at the idea of me being a Disney Mom, but I keep telling them 16 out of 20,000....I have a better chance to win the lottery!

Ok...off to buy a lottery ticket.....

Last year, second round finalists found out around Oct 17th, then 3rd round (phone interviews) started at the end of Oct/beginning of Nov, I believe. However, none of us really know other than the "Nov. 1 or 2" that was mentioned in the submission response. Good Luck to everyone. Hopefully, we will all here sooner than later.

Thanks for the info - I was pretty sure I had seen a Canadian on there. Back to school and dental surgery has limited my reading time for the lsat 2 weeks !!! Now that all will be quiet today I can restart my normal schedule.
