Applied for PI/Management Internship

My husband applied for a PI/Management Internship and he is older (late 30's) and doesn't have a facebook or linkedin. He used to have a FB but with classes and whatnot he saw it as a waste of time so he deleted it. He never had a linkedin, he doesn't seen the point, doesn't have time for it, doesn't see it as a priority, and I agree (for him, especially while he's in school). Will this be an issue?

None of the PIs I know have linkdin or talk about linkdin. I guess I technically have one somewhere that I created in college forever ago, but I don't even log into it. As for Facebook, I know a girl on my PI who didn't have FB and a couple others who have it but they have their privacy settings set on like, the highest level so they aren't really even stalkable on there.

Case in Point: No, it shouldn't matter one teeny ounce. They're looking at experience, personality, and how much you love life!
