Do you know of any great appliance sales?

There usually are around Thanksgiving time, but I was hoping to buy appliances sooner than that.

We need everything... washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher
Not needing top of the line. Just good basic appliances!

Home Depot is 10% off right now and has been for a while, but a HD employee mentioned November will be the best time to buy appliance. When?

Thanks!

if you are going to buy multiple items call around and haggle with some of your local stores. ask them when they will be having sales and if what their policy is on 'price drops'. sears will meet any price a competitor is offering on an identical item (and I believe better it by 10%), and if that item goes on sale after you purchase it (I think you have 14 days) you can get a refund.
our sears has software so they can see on their registers what the local larger stores have sales on.

we were recently in the market for a higher end washer and dryer. called sears and found out they would be having a sale that was better than any other price we had researched. went in (made sure to talk to same sales person) and we worked it out to where we purchased the items one day before the sale b/c they had another sale still going where the w/d were full price but w/ purchase you got the drawer stands free. the next day when the w/d went on sale at the great deal the sales person went into their system and price matched for the new sales price so we ended up with the great deal PLUS the two drawer stands free:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I think you'll start seeing sales in the next week or so b/c the holidays are prime times for people to get their big kitchen appliances.

Should be some sales for Veterans Day, Nov 11......do your recon now so you know what you want. Seems like HD, Lowes, Best Buy etc. do price match, so that should save some legwork. I have seen sales on appliance suites (3or more pieces like fridge, dishwasher, stove, etc.).

Make sure you are getting services like free haul away of old appliances and installation of plumbing lines for the fridge if you need it. I have seen the best prices for washer/dryer sets on Black Friday.

We just got our new fridge, and it took a month from order to delivery, so factor in any delivery/manufacture time ( I think our fridge was made just for the sale we purchased it at). So, glad this was accomplished in time for the holidays.

Happy shopping!

We were planning on appliance shopping Black Friday until our fridge gave out Thursday afternoon. We shopped Best Buy, HH Gregg, Home Depot, and Lowes. Lowes beat the other 3 by $350 with free delivery and haul away. Within 18 hours of our fridge dying, the new one was in our home.

One thing to look at is appliance bundles. I'm seeing 4 items for $1999 at various locations, specifically HH Gregg.

Shop around, the deals can be found.

We just price online and go to Sears. We would run ourselves ragged going store to store, find the best price, and then that store wouldn't have the product in stock, and would need a week or two to get one. That's not much help when your appliance dies and you need a replacement today.
Sears price matches, and almost always has everything in stock ready to deliver.
