My dh is a apple junky, he eats four a day. Will we have a hard time finding them? Thinking about garden grocer for his apples and water. But I seem to remember mounds of them...but that may have been on a cruise.

You will pay entirely too much for them. I'd order them from garden grocer.

Most of the CS locations serve pre-sliced and packaged apples as a side item option. There are also a few places around the parks that sell whole fruit that would have them.

So while they are fairly easy to find, the PP is right...you'll be paying a lot for them and they're not very good quality.

If you have lunch at Starring Rolls in DHS you can get an apple (or banana) as your side rather than chips. I think it was a Granny Smith that I had, very crisp and refreshing (with the HUGE red velvet cupcake I had for dessert, the apple canceled out the calories from the cupcake).

They have apples everywhere, but they are reasonably costly to buy them per apple. If you need that many apples, order them.

I have seen apples in the parks for around a buck a piece. The only issue I can see ordering them besides the min order is are they going to hand pick your apples or just grab one of the bags that tend to have bruises.

There are certainly lots of apple options at Disney World and you will not have any trouble finding them but as a few others mentioned, you will pay a pretty penny for them! A whole apple is $1 each, and they also have prepackaged apple slices, usually for kids, but I'm not sure how much those are.

You will be best off ordering apples from Garden Grocer or making a trip to a store on your own if you have a car and paying a more standard price. :) Dont forget about caramel apples, the best of both worlds!

You can get whole apples at kiosks everywhere, as well as sliced apples from at least one or two kiosk type locations in each park. The sliced apples usually come with other cut up fruit. Disney has really stepped up the availability of healthy snacks, which makes me very happy! We eat fruit every day while in the parks, and I have zero desire to carry any around with me. I prefer to buy them as we go. I never carry a bag into the parks or anything, so it would be pretty hard to carry four apples in my pockets, lol!

Apples are pretty packable for traveling though, maybe throw a few in a suitcase so he can at least have one handy in the room for the mornings. I always grab one as we head out for the day (club lounges have them) and I eat it as we walk, monorail, boat or whatever to the park.

if you are the dining plan, an apple is a snack credit. I prefer mine covered in caramel and peanuts myself......

still cheaper to get some on your own....
