Is ApplePay in place and working in all the parks now? Hoping to use it for all my purchases during our upcoming trip.

Wouldn't the MB be easier?

ApplePay would be easier.

Room charging (aka 'Touch to Pay') requires the entry of a PIN, and that PIN pad is hard to use (very small buttons). Sometimes is difficult to twist your arm into the correct position to get the Mickeys to line up correctly in order for the MagicBand to scan.

In most cases, ApplePay is validated by a finger print that's stored in the iPhone. Depending on the merchant and/or purchase amount, the cashier might need to enter the last 4 (5 for AMEX) digits of the device account number that was generated when the CC was added to ApplePay.

Don't get me wrong, I love apple pay (or any NFC payment method) and at most places it's more convenient to get my phone out of my pocket rather than pull out a credit card. However, most places I don't walk around with my payment method on my wrist (apple watch isn't here yet). I'd use the MB and type the 4 digits rather than get my phone out and do a fingerprint scan. Also, I like having the total dollars I'm spending going to my room, it's easier to seen how much money has been spent on the vacation if it's all in one place.

I believe the original wording was "beginning December 2014". :confused3 That could mean anything from the 1st to the 31st but IIRC, the intention is to have it in place by Christmas.

FWIW, I am confused as to how Apple Pay is more convenient that scanning a MB (assuming you have one) and punching a pin?
