Apple TV in Hotel?

Has anyone ever successfully gotten an Apple TV to work in a Disney hotel room? Do the TVs have HDMI hookups and is the WiFi good enough? We will likely be staying at Beach Club if that makes a difference.

We’ll have 4 kids in our extended family group and it would be great to be able to set up some movies or shows for them on the TV. I know we won’t be in our rooms a whole lot, but we are thinking the parents might go out at night a couple of times while the grandparents babysit.

I haven't tried to hook up Apple TV, but I have had issues sometimes with the connection speed trying to stream Netflix.

Wifi at Disney isn't meant for streaming, it's more for checking mail and posting pictures to social media.

Last year at CBR, we mostly had no problem streaming on an ipad, but it was a pain to stay logged into the wifi on a fire stick connected to the TV, so we just gave up on that. There were open HDMI ports on the TV, so that wasn't a problem. I imagine the wifi strength may vary depending on your particular room, and even where the device exactly is in the room, and maybe even how many other people are logging on in the same area, at the same time. Disney seems to provide for 'just enough' / 'just barely not enough' wifi at the resorts. Of course, things could have changed (for better or worse) since last year.

Thank you all. I’m guessing that the TVs have Disney Channel and Disney Junior? That’s probably good enough for some kids that will likely pass out quickly after a day in the parks anyway!
