apple strollers - parent console/rain cover

So I know you can email to add the console and cover, but can anyone tell me if they're decent quality and useful? What kind of console do they have? Will it hold drinks w/ lids and straws or only a bottle w/ a cap? What about the rain covers? Any good? Easy to use?
