We have used Walker Mobility on three separate occasions and have always been very satisfied, however, in August at Universal Studios we saw many Go-Go Elite scooters that seemed smaller and more maneurverable. These were rented by Apple Scooter Co. A check of their website would indicate that their prices are even better than Walker's with the current discount.

Have others here rented through Apple Scooter and were you satisfied with your experience?

A couple of people have written about renting from them, but I don't think anyone has reported back yet.

Be careful with the Go-Go Elite scooters. They are excellent machines but they are not meant for the type of use that they will get in the themeparks. There batteries are not adequate for a full days use in the parks. That is why almost all scooter companies including my own rent the larger scooters. Don't get me wrong, the Go-Go may well be the right choice for you if you're a small person and don't intend to stay in the parks from opening to closing. They are designed for ease of transport and mall shopping ect. where they're only used for a few hrs at the most before being recharged due to the smaller batteries that they use.

I have my own Go-Go Elite scooter and have never had a problem with the battery not lasting. We used it in Disney in May and after a full day at the parks it still had plenty of juice to go more. I think I could have even gone 2 days before charging it, but didn't push it. I am also not a small person (200+). They are great little scooters! I just love mine.

The range is entirely dependant on a number of factors. The Go-Go only has a range of 14 miles compared to 20-25 miles on the larger scooters. For some people it's perfectly fine but for most it's not a good choice. The
Revo that they offer is better suited for use in the parks as is the Victory 10.
