How often does Apple update their site with refurbished items? I kept meaning to order a 4th gen Ipod touch for ds for the past two weeks, then when I went to do it Monday, they are gone. Do you think they'll have more in before Christmas?

They have them at gamestop. They have a good warranty there too.

I don't know for sure, but twice I've wanted to order and it wasn't in stock, and it came back in stock within just a couple of days. I'm not sure if that's the normal pattern or if I just got lucky.

It is updated two or three times during the week. Keep checking back or setup an alert as a PP mentioned.

Just wanted to give my experience with buying refurbished through Apple.

I bought an ipod touch. It was just delivered a few minutes ago. Great experience. I ordered it Sunday. It was mailed out by Monday morning. Apple even sent me texts when it was mail out, when it was out for delivery and one saying it had been delivered. It looks new and works perfectly.

I've purchased at least 10 refurbished apple products since 2008. All are still working and are in good shape!

I don't know how often they change but I would keep up the site and just keep refreshing it until I found what I was looking for. The alerts sound like a MUCH better idea!
