Ugh this makes me so bummed! I missed the deals at BB and Wamart this a.m. and saw this for 179 at noontime. decided it was the best I was gonna do without heading out to fight the crowds at the stores. So wish I waited!!

If you look on the front page, it shows it at the $179, but when you put it in the cart it's $188. At $188 it's coming from Target, so I have to pay shipping and tax

I bought one of these for my DS but I'm looking for a larger gb one for myself. I'm waiting for the Apple.com sale (hopefully it will start at midnight) to see what the prices are on the 32gb. Maybe Amazon will have more of these or a different sale-they seem to be putting the same items on sale as the doorbusters of the b&m stores. I would keep checking.

The 8 GB iTouch 3rd generation, is actually a 2nd generation with the 3rd generation hardware. It does not have the voice recognition headphones. I was researching the differences. If you go to the Apple website and look at the section "What's in the Box", you can see the differency.
