Never mind. I saw the TRU deal on another thread here. DD is getting one for a good friend and I'm trying to figure out if it's worth the wait in line at Meijer Thursday to get it for $100 after rebate.

Thanks for posting this! I've been keeping an eye on Amazon throughout the day and didn't even see this. Actually, I already bought this for DH, however at this price I'm going to return it to Target because it saves me at least $20 and no tax or shipping!

Oh gosh, sorry to read this. I just went to double check for your guys and you're right, it's no longer showing the $114.99 price? It wasn't a lightning deal (as far as I know) so I'm glad I didn't wait too long to order it! Keep checking because Amazon is known for trying to match other deals out there...

Amazon is really doing a stellar job of price matching the big deals at the BM stores out there.

Amazon does the price match on their own at various times throughout the day. The catch is that you have to keep checking the sight to know when the price match is being offered. Like a pp stated, Amazon has been doing a great job of matching the prices of other stores.

They had the 'bundle' that included some chargers, the IPod and the clear acrylic type case for 2.00 more....that's what I ordered. Shipping wasn't free though, it was a deal from Apple, not Amazon...just featured on Amazon's site. So shipping was around 6.00 for me Still a GREAT deal....thanks OP.

Nothing was posted on their site, however, another site (PC Magazine, I think) said that they were going to offer 30% off the new ipod. Not sure if it is true or not and you can also order it online on Friday too. If I am correct, the price would be 104.30 ... and I think they offer free shipping.

Hoping it is true. I just bought one at Toys R Us today. I will return it if this it true

I got the same email. From what I've heard though, it's going to be up to 30%. I too got one today at TRU. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
