Apple Education Discounts

I know there are Apple Education discounts for computers and ipods, but are there any for accessories (for ipods in particular) ? Thanks!

T our local college booksore all Apple products are offered at the educator pricing level.

Most of the iPod accessories are 3rd party so they are not offered on Apple's Education Site. Belkin, Griffin Tech, Digital Lifestyle, Speck Products, etc do offer educational discounts for their iPod accessories, however you have to get them through an academic reseller. Check to see if your school has a Computer Store of some sort of even check with the school's bookstore.

Our school doesn't sell Apple. I looked on their website and the closet one that does isn't really close at all.

I called once, a paystub will do at an apple store for the educational discount.

Yes, paystub and/or ID will get you an educational discount. I've done that a few times.

However, my local Apple store (NJ), is pretty picky on what accessories are covered under the Apple discount. Apparently in order to receive the discount, you need to have a serial number on the item. Of course, the cases/cables and such don't have a serial number.

However, the apple care protection warranty is covered under an educator discount. Sometimes, you can get a good deal on accessories if you go to the refurb/return table. The last time I was in this Apple store, almost all of the table was accessories.
