appie as an entree

has anyone tried, and had luck, getting an appetizer as the entree on DDP? I am looking specifically at the Duck Confit at Le Cellier. I'd love to have that with the yummy cream cheese mashed potatoes for my meal. Do you think this might be possible? I LOVE duck!!!

My DH did it without problem at Raglan Road. We don't have any specific experience at Le Cellier. It could be manager-specific.

Word is that if you want to switch an appetizer for a dessert, that won't be permitted.

However, if you want an appetizer as your entree, the best thing to do is ask at the restaurant if they will let you do that.
