At Pinnochios, we were able to get a salad, figaro fries, a dessert, and a drink. I have gotten this same order with deluxe and regular plan.
At Earl of Sandwich, I got a sandwich, chips or dessert, and a drink. I was kind of bummed about that. I was thinking that a sandwich and chips should count as a combo!
They are a combo with the chips at Earl - I think all their sandwiches come with chips. Per Disney you are not supposed to get an appetizer or side with a counter service DDP meal on either plan. If you get one, consider it a bonus. I don't think anyone should count on being able to order a side or "appetizer" and have it included, but if your server or cashier will allow it, you've gotten lucky.
You only get one entree or combo plate, even on the deluxe plan from what I saw in January. However, at Cafe Tangeriene (the CS in Morroco) they gave me two extra sides for being on the deluxe plan, but that was the only place it happened. FWIW - that is a great use of a CS credit.
