Appetizers as main meal on DDP

I don't know if my title made any sense at all. I have 5 kids that are considered Disney Adults, 2 of them are not meat eaters, but not vegetarians either. If we were to eat at Spoodles, for example, and my kids order the flat bread appetizers as a main meal. Am I going to have to pay out of pocket for the appetizers since they will not be ordering an entree? Or will they consider this their meal? I know I'm not the only one out there traveling with picky eaters. Last year my 15 yo son ate grapes for dinner from 1900 Park Fare, I about died! I had paid for dining, this year dining will be free since we did the bounceback. So I don't care if he eats fruit for dinner!
