We're eating at Raglan Road for our arrival night (in 30 days...so excited!!) and I know the "Appetizer D'Lirrah: Our Dalkey Duo, Scallop forest, Heaven on Earth and Nom Nom Wings" is listed on the appetizer menu in the It's all For Sharing, which means it's not a single portion and priced for 2 people, but is that particular one for 4 people?

We're on the DxDP so I'm trying to figure out if it would count as 4 appetizers vs. 2 appetizers for our table of 4 adults?

THANKS!!

ps. and if anyone has any recent pictures of any of the meals at Raglan Road I'd love to see them!

I've only eaten there on the standard plan, but if it counts as 4 just order them separately.

That's a thought but the 4 items included in that appetizer are all listed as "for 2 people" and therefore we could only get 2 appetizers for our 4 appetizer credits....

then I'd have to decide which 2 of the 4 items we'd want to try - sausages, scallops, ribs or wings..

too many choices!

Follow up question... there are other apps that say "for 2" but are the same price as apps that don't say that. Would those ones be 1 or 2 appetizer credits on DxDP?

if I understand correctly how the menu is laid out, the appetizers under the "It's all for me" are 1 appetizer credit and the ones under the "It's all for sharing" are 2 appetizer credits - even though some are the same price..

We will probably order 2 of the Appetizer D'Lirrah since we have 2 teenage boys who can eat everything and we want to try ALL of them!! Which will use up our 4 DxDP appetizer credits...

Thanks for this info. Really only the apps under the "sharing" portion of the app menu appeal to me. I guess my only hope will be if they allow my 8 year old to be the 2nd for the DxDP credits.

Do you know if the salads are considered an app?

I've never eaten there personally, but I THINK that the items in the "It's All Green" salads are not appetizers, but rather entrees.

I have 30 days until I eat there!! Can't wait!

I ate at Raglan Road with just my 7-year-old on the dxddp, and the server wouldn't allow us to share an adult "for two" appetizer.

Well boo :-( I kinda figured that would be the case though. I still really want to try Raglan Road though because I have read so many great things about it. I'll just need to re-think my appetizer selection.

I would push for it. They may still say no, but on the deluxe plan, children are supposed to be able to order from the adult menu if they prefer. I have had every type of soup imaginable from Raglan Road and you can't go wrong with that choice if you have a soup lover.

The 2016 DxDDP brochure still says:
• Guests ages 3-9 must order from a children’s menu where available (page2)

so while many have said the credits are pooled and children can order from the adult menu, a restaurant can adhere to the rules of the dining plan and not allow a child to order an adult appetizer. Third party restaurants like RR are reimbursed by Disney according to the rules of the plan so they are less likely to make exceptions to anything printed in the brochure.

Our server was quite cranky that night and I was well aware, just as purple figment posted, that she would be doing me a favor which she declined to do and so we moved on without pressing the issue. I ended up with mussels and they were delicious! Raglan Road remains one of my favorite restaurants on property.
