Appetizer & Dessert only with TS Reservation?

My plan in Epcot is to have dinner at the Garden Grill at the earliest available time (4:30 - 5:00) - I missed it last time because all reservations were taken and they were not accepting walk ups. Then I want to have reservations at Rose & Crown for 8:30 to have a table for Illuminations. I know we won't be able to do a full meal that soon, so can we order only appetizers and dessert?

Sounds like a stupid question, but I don't want to end up wasting a TS credit (planned to pay out of pocket for it.)

I've heard the Rose and Crown requests that you order a meal since so many people make reservations for Illuminations. I would go, but just be aware that you may be asked to order a full meal. Can you do a full meal there, and do Garden Grill at another time?

The problem is you may find it impossible to get a reservation after 7:30 at R&C. And if you do, it you will definitely not be seated outside. The staff there know that anyone much after 7:00, especially for outside, will be very slow in ordering and eating and the meals tend to be timed so that the people will get ther check around the start of IllumiNations.
